Situated on the lakeside, a stone's throw from the town centre, our hotel has a splendid view on the Lugano Bay. Lugano has an altitude of 892 ft. and its climate is very mild. Shops, cultural events, sport and touristic equipments and excellent connections make it ideal for a short or a long stay.

The spacious lounge is marvellous to relax in and a good meeting-place. Our staff will be glad to offer suggestions on how to make the best of your stay.

The rooms and suite are roomy and well-appointed, with every comfort, and look out on a matchless scenic environment. The particular attention paid to gastronomy combined with the personal management, turns every stay at the Du Lac into a pleasant vacation.

The restaurant, the bar 'Le Petit Point' is situated facing the lake with a beautiful view.

The 'L'Arazzo' restaurant offers Mediterranean specialities and selected wines.

Meals are served from 12:15 to 13:45 and 19.15 to 21:45.

The beautiful and sunny terrace is open from May to October

Breakfast is served from 07.00 to 10:30.

The restaurant is accessible for disabled guests.

Room information

All rooms are directly facing the lake and offer a wonderful view over the lake and the mountains.

lake view was very wonderful. the best hotel in this regard.

Wonderful location, awesome views, good food and very clean. The staff were generally very helpful. Great pool plus acess to lake swimming.

It needs to be updated, great potential because of location. Rooms were sparce, beds so so...need comfortable king, queen or twin beds. Duvet covers a little heavy for warm weather. Halls gave feeling of a less expensive hotel. Though I enjoyed our stay and even extended it because of the location I did not find it to be of good value and would give it 3 stars...a little tired but just needs some decor attention.

het fraaie uitzicht en het vriendelijke personeel

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht 100%. Position ist sehr gut, aber die Zimmer sind alt und gar nicht von ein 4-Stern Hotel.

Das liegt direkt am See und hat von allen Zimmer Seesicht, wirklich sehr schön. Der Pool ist sehr gross und man kann auch im See baden gehen vom Hotel aus. Die Lage ist wirklich super und man kann das Zentrum rasch erreichen.

Wir fanden den Preis ein wenig zu hoch für das was geboten wurde.Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer superior gebucht und finden eigentlich keinen Unterschied zu einem normalen Doppelzimmer. Die Doppelzimmer wären einfach etwas kleiner gewesen. Aber wir finden man kann das nicht als superior verkaufen, der Preis ist einfach zu hoch. Der Standart der Zimmer müsste überholt werden.
