Eden Au LacUtoquai 45, 8. Seefeld-Mühlebach-Weinegg, 8008 Ζυρίχη (Εμφάνιση χάρτη) Πολύ καλό, Αποτέλεσμα από 50 σχόλιαΧτισμένο το 1909, το Eden au Lac φιλοξενεί διεθνή πελατεία για έναν αιώνα τώρα. Βρίσκεται σε μια γραφική τοποθεσία στην αριστοκρατική γειτονιά Utoquai της Ζυρίχης. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι αναγνωρισμένο ως διατηρητέο κτίριο και διαθέτει δωμάτια το καθένα ξεχωριστά διακοσμημένο καθώς και σουίτες με όλες τις ανέσεις που θα περιμένατε από ένα πολυτελές ελβετικό ξενοδοχείο, το οποίο εξακολουθεί να αναδίδει τη γοητεία της παλιάς εποχής. The staff was nice but the hotel is not. The hotel needs a lot of renovation. The room are old and not renovated. Also, for the price they charge, we can find much better anywhere else. We expected to have a spiffy hotel with charm at that price. Quite disappointing.

Intimate, smart, charming staff, excellent location, attractive building, light and spacious room, good bar and breakfast (I didn't otherwise eat there). Altogether lovely and a real five-star stay. Just a little bit shabby - I was told it is shutting in 2013 for a complete refurbishment and no doubt a significant price hike. So book now and enjoy before it costs £800 a night like the other Zurich five star hotels. By the way, just a bit disappointing that a superior room, shown on the website to have a balcony, didn't. And the photographs don't show that the hotel is separated from the lakeside by quite a busy road. But these are details.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was serviced without requesting anything. No one was always following us around, and when we did need someone they were very attentative. The restaurants and the cuisine on offer was a bit limited. The Pillows were very soft and only two were provided, i had to as for an extra two pillows. The TV screen was on the small side.

Position was great and lovely view from our room Very expensive afternoon tea and the plate of cakes were served after we have finished out pots of tea!! The also charged a fairly high rate for a late checkout although the hotel had very few guests - not even half full!

I have travelled the world for the past 50 years, staying at the best hotels. I read a report about Hotel au Lac that was less than complimetary, which provoked me to try it (suspecting a decent Swiss hotel should not justify such criticism!) As I was to stay only one night, it would not matter too much if the report was justified. As it turned out, my guess was correct. I assume the author was looking for 'glass and chrome, with Ikea furniture'! If so, he would have been disappointed - it is 'traditional', but a good example of Swiss perfection, in the old style. What has prompted me to write this note was the exceptionally good service by the staff. My stay was on 1st January, when much of Europe had shut down. The guests at the hotel were few. That can lead to laxity by the staff in some cases. But, on the contrary, I was most impressed! The only time I have known better service was the immaculate performane of the Mandarin, Hong kong more than 30 years ago! That is some compliment.... The location is good - overlooking the Lake. Car parking for my friend was easy. All the necessary services were provided - and I can honestly say the staff made the visit memorable. Nothing worthy of complaint - and I am a stern critic of hotels!

Not having too many rooms this hotel offer an exceptional and personalized service. It make you feel very welcome and "home". The staff is as friendly as professional. No flat screen tv.

The hotel provides a great old style ambiance with excellent service. I booked a single room and was surprised about the size of the bed, room and the bathroom. Often single rooms are very small. The staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel is in a high price category but that is justified for the service and facilities you get. I loved the bar with the piano music and roof terras. The hotel is at a main road and with the windows open, there is a lot of noise, even though I had a room at the back. When using the airco, which doesn't make any noise and closing the windows, the level of traffic noise is acceptable (at the back).

My second stay was every bit as wonderful as my first, which I didn't think possible. I give the eden au lac a *****+ rating: friendly and welcoming staff that is also consummately professional. Fabulous location on the lake,permitting jogs along the shore, a dip in the sea or a quick walk into town for sight seeing, shopping and antique-ing. Wonderful rooms -- get one with a view- great beds and fine linens in the best European tradition,good marble old school bathrooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet and a very French/piano bar for a sundown cocktail. I am not planning to stay anywhere else in Zurich as long as the eden holds itself to these very high standards!

La situation face au lac est superbe. Avec le soleil, on se croirait sur la promenade des anglais à Nice! L'insonorisation est bonne malgré la circulation assez abondante. L'ensemble est un peu vieillot et manque d'accompagnement des évolutions de confort et de technologie "élémentaire" (équipement de la salle de bain pas au top , télé encombrante très vieux modèle et de piètre qualité). Le buffet "petit déjeuner" est loin d'être à la hauteur pour le prix demandé. Peu de choix, mets pas très appétissants. Rapport qualité prix médiocre à cet égard!

Есть у этого отеля какая то харизма и старинность в хорошем смысле Хороший сервис симпатичные номера и конечно великолепное место Цена явно завышена и не соответствует по уровню другим крупным городам таким как нью йорк и даже женева Мне также не понравилось питание в ресторане и баре Хотя завтрак великолепен, ланч и ужин оставляют желать лучшего

Goed hotel, goede bediening. Nabij centrum ietwat lawaaierig, maar mooi zicht op meer. Enkel kwaliteit van bedden is slecht.

Die Servicemitarbeiter beim Frühstück waren unaufmerksam, nur nach Aufforderung wurden benützte Teller usw. Abgeräumt, Getränke serviert.Frühstücksbüffet war bei meiner Ankunft zum Frühstück um 9.00 unaufgefüllt und wurde auch während meines Frühstückes bis 9.45 nicht mehr aufgefüllt (zB Käse, Lachs usw)
