Hotel Eiger  

Exceptional staff. This hotel is all about healthy activity and includes a program of exercise that guests should inform themselves about as soon as they arrive so as not to miss anything. Great location and stunning view. Very comfortable bed.

It would have been nice to have more current English language newspapers available. The sign for the hotel says in very large letters selfness and smaller letters Eiger. It would be helpful to know this for finding the place. Rooms are European sized but with very nice furnishings.

The decor was rather old-fashioned. The bathroom was gloomy and the fittings very old. There was a strange smell in the room when I first arrived which I think came from the toilet which took several goes to flush properly. But good television and a good range of channels although you only really watch it from the bed - there was no alternative seating apart from the desk chair.

This is the best hotel in my trip. I spent a wonderful time there. Nice staff, nice room, nice view and nice breakfast.

The position of the Hotel in Grindelwald, the wonderful staff and that it is a family owned and managed Hotel.

When three adults are sharing a room, the third person sleeps on the made-up sofa which is small for a tall person.

Das Hotel Eiger liegt sehr zentral in Grindelwald, wenige Minuten zum Bahnhof, der direkt mit der Bahn zur kleinen Scheidegg ins Skigebiet führt. Sehr sauber, sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben im Rest. Memory gegessen und es war alles in bester Ordnung. Das Ampiente im Lokal war sehr angenehm (Hüttenzauber). Besonders zu erwähnen ist das sehr freundliche Personal, dass uns an diesem Abend bedient hat. Auch der Hoteleigene Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel liegt optimal.

Viel zu teuer, Internetverbindung sehr schlecht.

Sehr guter Service, die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut, vieles ist bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig.

Badezimmer versprühen einen 80'er Jahre Charme, es wird aber im Haus schon renoviert. Gute wäre auch wenn alle Zimmer Wifi bzw. Internet Zugang hätten. Frühstücksraum bei Hochsaison sicherlich etwas eng.
