We were attending a large exhibition in Basel and this was the most convenient hotel still available as Basel itself was full. The location near the rail station was first class for our needs. The hotel was perfect despite being without evening restaurant as there were local restaurants available for good dining in the evenings. The small town centre, shopping and market square in Zoflingen were all very pleasant. An excellent breakfast - great choice of food. Comfortable clean modern rooms with all facilities including free wifi There was nothing to criticise.

Hotel Engel is right in the middle of Zofingen's old town and close to where I was racing Powerman Zofingen. I've stayed in Zofingen twice before so my expectations of Hotel Engel were high. The hotel is faultless and the staff are wonderful. Airlines lost my luggage for 6 days and I relied on the hotel's high-speed wi fi in my room to continually keep the airlines and my traveller insurer's emergency assistance service working to get my luggage. Breakfast is excellent and available early. On race day breakfast was even earlier to suit our needs and the hotel owner kindly provided towels after the race for us to clean our bikes before bringing them into the hotel. I've travelled to race 13 worlds championships around the world and the culture of Hotel Engel stands out from those of the many extremely good hotels I've stayed in.

The staff was really nice. I am trying to learn the language (German) but I appreciated the staff speaking English. I breakfast buffet was excellent and the young man taking care of the buffet was nice as well. The manager even showed me a double room in the event that I book for next year.

J'aime le confort et la situation centrale de l'hôtel. J'ai été stupéfait de constater, dans un hôtel 4 étoiles, que le meuble «minibar», clairement reconnaissable comme tel, et sur lequel trônait un verre et un décapsuleur, ne contenait pas de minibar !

La tranquillité, la simplicité, la proximité du centre-ville, la chambre est réellement non-fumeur (sans odeur de fumée), la propreté et la literie sont irréprochables. Le personnel est efficace et aimable. La salle de bain est un peu trop petite, de même que la tv. Pas de parking gratuit à proximité. Il y a un automate à boissons au deuxième étage qui propose des sodas à 4 Fr. la bouteille: prohibitif!

Es war total kalt im Zimmer. Beide Heizungen, Zimmer und Bad gehen sehr früh in die Nachtabsenkung. Ich habe noch nie in so einem kalten Bett geschlafen.

Hôtel agréable, personnel sympathique et la vieille-ville de Zofingen est absolument ravissante. L'appareil à faire des glaçons dans le couloir malheureusement juste à côté de ma chambre: du bruit toute la nuit ! Je l'ai signalé à l'hôtel qui veilleront à réduire cette nuisance. Eviter la chambre 220 !

Já conhecia o Hotel Engel de muito tempo atrás. Um hotel pequeno, em uma cidadezinha encantadora, bem no meio da cidade antiga. O hotel foi reformado e "atualizado", Os quartos são amplos, claros, muito limpos e agradáveis; os banheiros têm chuveiros modernos e secadores de cabelo. O café da manhã é exelente e o pessoal é atencioso e prestativo.

Habitacion muy amplia con cama de 1,20 metros, suelo enmoquetado y cuarto de baño muy amplio. Desayuno muy variado que incluye comida solida como fiambres: jamon, distintas variedades de queso, otros.
