Helpful staff, rooms were well appointed and new, location is very convenient to main train station and city transportation. Floor creeked in the rooms, no ramp at front of hotel to wheel luggage. |

Atmosphere created thanks to decoration; Piano Bar in the lobby; comfortable beds Breakfast did not meet my expectations. Not sure if this was due to the fact that the hotel's kitchen was being renovated (restaurant was closed due to this).... |

I arrived in Basel to write an article about the Fasnacht. I was so pleasantly surprised by the Euler Hotel. It represented a very nice standard of service and facilities. My single room was simply and elegantly decorated, with a large, modern bath attached - and everything was perfectly clean. The staff was cordial and helpful from check-in to check-out. I could not have been happier. Not a thing. |

Very well located just across the train station and close to the downtown area. Can be noisy as it is very close to the tram station. |

As I was travelling with an infant, I was particularly impressed with the help I received from staff and with the layout of the room I was in, which enabled me to pull across a door and read, while my daughter slept in another part of the room - a rare luxury! The only thing I would have to say would be the lack of a 'wheelchair access'. I had to lift my daughter, the buggy and the case up and down the steps a couple of times and found that a bit difficult (and unusual). |

the central location next to the railway station and five mins. walk from the historic center, the spacious rooms and the beautiful interior design. the hotel has in the rooms a stable temperature between 17-20 C*. I think the choice of a little higher temperature, would be better. |

We stayed in several hotels around Switzerland during our trip and the Euler Hotel Basel was by far the nicest (and about average in cost). The room was large by European standards and extremely comfortable. It was also the only place that had an actual queen mattress and not 2 twins in the same frame. The location was very convenient for train travel and a short walk to the shopping district. The only complaint I would have (and it's minor) was that breakfast was not included in the room rate. Given that other places we stayed at for a similar rate did include breakfast, I was a little disappointed. |

We stayed just one night, so our experience is limited. I was surprised how quiet it was during the night, right in the heart of the city. Its big plus point is the nearness to the railway station and the tram system. Would certainly choose it again. Didn't read guest reviews, so question below is inapplicable. |

room, nice and efficient, everything there you might need. I find the breakfast room too dark and grim. No natural light. The breakfast staff could be friendlier. Breakfast improved a lot over time (in my previous stays there were no scrambled eggs and not enough fruits; this time all of it was there, great). |

Very convienent for me as very close to the station, trams and one of my appointments. Could be noisy early am as room overlooked one of the main tram junctions. If the window is shut not so bad |

The hotel was in an excellant location and although a little way from the old town we were provided with free tram tickets for use during our stay at the hotel so this was not a problem. The room was very nice and immaculate. The breakfast was also good. |

Hotel room & bath room: very nice design and very comfortable. The hallways could do with a renovation. Parking & driving to the hotel by car is a bit difficult, very convenient for public transport though. |

The hotel room was lovely, very clean and the air conditioning was good. The doors also blocked out the tram noise outside very well. There was no tea and coffee making facilities. |

I like its situation and the hotel remains small and original, not just another international sleeping place. I think the room was good value for money but it is a pity that guests must either eat in their room or go down into the basement for breakfast and pay a fortune for a big breakfast, even if they would like to go to the terrace and only have a piece of fruit, a croissant and a cup of coffee. |

Very central for the station. Decent room and bathroom. Generally okay. Great tv system so I could watch bbc very easily. Breakfast room is not very welcoming and the breakfast buffett was a little basic. I would like tea / coffee making facilites in the room. |
