Its location opposite the train station. Also friendly staff, willing to help and advise.

I don't know how much there is to do in Brig-- I was passing through, but I really enjoyed waking up to the crisp air surrounded by beautiful high mountains. The owner was very friendly, the room was very clean, the breakfast was simple and tasty, the location was convenient for my early morning train, and the price was great. I would choose this hotel again.

The owner made us feel part of the family

Overlooking Matterhorn-Gottard Bahn and SBB stations. Close to town centre. New owners since my visit in 2010. I think that the atmosphere in the hotel has improved. Will be visiting again in 2012

Europe is a is a cozy home-like hotel, it is very close from the train station, so do not worry about traveling to other cities on tourism, the boss and her family are all kindly, .Breakfast is also good. i like to live here one day ~

location to the railway station

It was located very close to the train station. I was just using Brigg as a connection so location was the key. The room was very nice and had a walk out with a great view. Brigg is rather small, so getting into town was not difficult. The breakfast was also good here.

The internet did not seem to function properly, which impacted the use of credit cards. I had cash to pay for the room so it was not a problem. Also, the bathroom tub was design in such a way as it required a very large step up. Not an issue for me, but people with mobility issues may want to ask ahead about easy access rooms / bathrooms.

The fact that we were quickly allocated a new room when it was pionted out to them that we had been given the wrong type of room.- There was a hair dryer in the room.

There was no tea/coffee making facility in the room and there was no lounge to go and sit in if your partner wanted to go to sleep and you didn'T. I sat in the reception area instead. - No Toaster avaible at Breakfast.

Excellent location for both the sbb and mgb railways and I had a great view of the mgb from my room

Very helpful and friendly staff. This is family-run nice little hotel. Hotel is right across the train station, so you can buy train ticket and just walk across the hotel to board the train to Zermatt/Glacier Express.

Sometimes you can hear the train. Not really a problem if you request a room that does not face the railway tracks directly. Closing the windows also helps.

We arrived very late in the evening. And the hotel owner was very nice and friendly. Even we were very late arriving, he made specially a baby bed ready for our baby. Price not bad, hotel very good situated, supermarket near and other shops, other hotels very expensive. Not far from the train station. Would like to come again.
