The staff were friendly, stones throw from Gare Cornavin (one of the main train station), Also th Hotels in Geneva give you a card that entitles you to use any public transportation for the duration of your stay which I found was really useful.Aparently you could also get the one-way free ticket from the airport to your hotel till such time you get your own card from the hotel. Very good wifi internet connection free to all occupants was another stunning point. There was not much variety in the breakfast. |

Friendliness of staff and its proximity to all the Gare de Cornavin The small screen of the TV. Also if possible TV should be at normal high length to avoid straining eyes. |

Staff very friendly, helpful. Rooms kept very clean, tidy. Free Wi-Fi. Next to fantastic supermarket, near trams and central train station, but not too close. Really good value for Geneva. Larger desk in room for working. |

free WiFi so I could handle e-mail and use Skype to call the States; free breakfast; proximity to Gare Cornavin (city transportation hub for buses/trams/trains); relatively low price; elevator for times when I was carrying luggage, stairs for exercise at other times. (The first four of these were my selection requirements, in that order.) |

one of the reasons i chose excelsior was due to earlier reviews, which said the hotel was very clean. this is very much true. even though it is in an old building and at the first sight may seem not that fancy, it has all the comfort and facilities you require for a comfortable stay. location is excellent, walking distance from main train station and the lake, bus terminal for sightseeing tours and tourist information office. breakfast is not great, but enough, and the dinner at the same restaurant in the evening is pretty good at a reasonable price. hotel also has elevator. there's a coffee-room type room on the ground floor for meetings/work, rooms are reasonable size, clean, with all the basic amenities, staff very friendly and helpful |

Location There was no comfortable easy chair to sit in in the room. There should be a kettle and tea coffee , milk and sugar for guests to make themselves a cup of tea or coffee. This is a standard facility that is provided in even 3-star hotels all over the world. |

Hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and provide us the basic information for a short stay in Geneva City.It has a clean and nice room. The place is accessible to the bus and train station. Most of all its very near the shopping centers, restaurants, and convenience stores where we can buy our needs like foods and presents to our loved ones. |

Very friendly and polite personnel, although we arrived 2 hours before official check-in I've got accomodation very quickly; rooms are really clean, though the building is old. Delicious croissants for breakfast :-) and of course very convenient location Air conditioning (I would never choose this hotel in summer); more services (E.G. electric adapter), and the most improtant is integrity: after returning home I've found that 4 taxi calls were charded (instead of 2 in reality) - unfortunately I haven't checked the bill during check- out have being accustomed to Swiss honesty and punctiliousness - trifle but unpleasant. |

The staff were very helpful and good English was spoken. The room was spotless and there were plenty of TV channels to choose from. The hotel had a relaxed feel about it, although it was very professionally run. I have no complaints about the facilities, although it is a small hotel so did not have things such as spa/leisure facilities. It is very convenient for the city centre and is close to the main train/tram/bus station, so getting about was easy. There was no air conditioning. The temperature during my stay was in the mid-20s Centigrade, but the week beforehand it was in the low 30s. This had the effect of warming up the hotel to the point where you had to have a window open for cooling, but this then made the room quite noisy if one's room was facing the street (as mine was). It is a real shame because I could not find fault in any other way, but in high summer this could be a real problem with comfort at night. |

Very sad to have this kind of experience. The staff are misleading the clients regarding the car in so call "reasonable price in the city" for parking: we payed 81 Swiss Franks for 3 days to park our car where they direct us to. I do not recommend the place if you travel by car, nor if you have small children, nor if you want to be in a clean and safe area of Geneva. The staff are not prepare for daily traveler questions: they ether do not know or they give wrong information. Breakfast is basic. Room was large, clean, not AC, view to a run down interior court. For a 2 star hotel, the price is to high and the service is lousy. the only positive one was the third bed was a good and comfortable one. The hotel should provide parking or pay it for the clients. Train the staff accordingly: they do not know directions in Geneva, they should offer basic service like sending out greeting cards for they own customers. And a very important one: the ones in our room where terrible. |

Approximately 80 metres away from Geneva's main train station Cornavin (terminus for airport train), this charming hotel welcomes you in its cosy traditional atmosphere. |
The Rotary Hotel (former Sofitel Geneva) is located near the business district and the international organisations, 5 minutes' walk from the station and a 20-minute drive from the airport. |
Enjoying a prime location opposite Geneva's Main Railway Station, Hotel Suisse SA offers pleasant, tastefully decorated rooms with spacious, well-equipped bathrooms. |
The design Hôtel Windsor enjoys a central location in Geneva, about 200 metres from the Cornavin train station and 500 metres from Lake Geneva. It has been entirely renovated in 2009. |
