The location of the hotel made was great. Had a great view of the mountains from my window. The hotel staff was warm and friendly. The room was not cleaned up when i was given the key... apparently as they put it.. "Maybe they forgot". |

Value for Money and Location. We were a family of 4 Adults (two Grandparents) and two Children. The room was small but then there was a beam which was right in the midle of the room. The most annoying thing in the hotel was that even though the breakfast was included in the room rates, the attendent was rude and was watching us pick up bread and butter for breakfast. We could hear him grumble and groan about my family having breakfast. If you allow a family of 6 with young children stay in your hotel you should expect them to have a proper breakfast. |

The room was basic, had to make up own beds and hire towels, but clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places of interest to visit, travel arrangements and times. Breakfast was ok, cereals and bread, cheese and fruit. Fruit juice and great coffee and tea or hot chocolate. The hotel was in a great location, close to centre of town and between two railway stations. We had a good stay would use again. Ideal for the bugeting backpacker. |

The behaviour of the staff on duty was obnoxious. They had a party going on and refused to entertain any of our requests. When we persisted with our demand for a bigger room,we were shown the door in the middle of the night.Ultimately we changed hotels on the third day for a far superior hotel called "splendid" for a marginally higher price. |

the staff were so helpful. they pointed us the in the right direction for good food and were extremely helpful. it is definately a hostel type accomodation. we expected this and it was actually better than we expected. we have never stayed at a hostel before and it was clean and fine. we had a family room or a room for 4 people with a private bath. the bathroom was small and you need your own towels, but it was clean, so we were okay with that. the town is amazing and so is the scenery, so we were just happy to be there. we were traveling with our two older children, 20 and 17 and we had two bunkbeds. it was kind of a neat experience and our kids loved it. the breakfast was cereal, toast, coffee and fruit and juice. I would have liked screens on the windows, just because i am used to that, but it really doesnt seem like a european thing. the sheets(that we had to put on ourselves, but expected) were a little damp, so we hung them over the bunkbeds for the afternoon and they were fine by the time we were going to bed. i think they had just been laundered and smelled fine. |

Value for money is very high.Location is excellent, centre of the city, station and supermarket, restaurants including asian restaurants are very near.I got free parking.Facility of using Kitchen with dinning place and free internet is the best place after a tiring day out.Tea and snacks or a quick meal cooked at your own location is very comfortable especially with kids. Provision of clean towels is an absolute necessity for a tourist plus a little more effort on the cleanliness of the room at the time of checkin. |

Good and helpful staff, near to the station Interlaken West, decent breakfast, purely a budget hotel and rightly named as backpacker No towels, only bunk beds in the quadraple room, you have to make your beds, put pillow covers (felt like working at home), No place to move around in the room, no lift so have to carry your luggage all the way to the second floor, |
