Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Stop for tram into Berne city centre (about 8 minutes ride) just outside and tickets sold by the hotel. Pleasant rural setting on the edge of town. Free (in open air) parking. The hotel has a vry contemporary feel with strong Japanese design elements. We did not have time to try the spa or other facilities. Breakfast charge at 22 chf per person rather steep -- we did not take it as a result. |

The proximity to the Bern city center was great. A short tram ride and you were right in the center. The free parking was nice for a city hotel. The spa was very nice as well. It was nice to relax after a long day of walking and sight seeing. The food selection at the hotel could have been better. While they had a Japanese restaurant I felt that the menu could have been more dynamic. Prices in Switzerland are always crazy! |

Hotel was nice and just right for our trip. Free parking was a really nice bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Trams are very convenient for getting to the center. Would stay here again! We would've eaten in the hotel restaurants, but they were smoky.... Good news is that Bern is implementing a stricter no-smoking law July 1, 2009, so from then-on, they will be! |

Free parking The hotel does not feel like a four star at all. I would say an average 3 star. |

The rooms are beautiful and 'spa' nice and quiet. Massage rates were far too high. |

Centrally located:7min by tram away from city center. We felt very relaxed in the spa area. Nice garage, clean rooms, polite employs. Nice view to the old town through big windows |

The location was excellent, an easy 15 minute walk to the old town. Parking was free. The price was very reasonable. Nice indoor pool. |

front desk very helpful- I loved the window , it opened, and able to get fresh air. give the guest a bigger cake of soap- we had three people in room and you need to give three glasses and three cups- not just two |

The quietest hotel I have ever seen! Priceless! Main lightbulb burnt out, hard to shave. Batteries dead in remote control. Shower curtain poorly designed so bathroom flooded. |

Surprised when hotel refused to extend the stay for a day at the same rates of yours (bookings.com). Asked to pay 75 CHF extra per room per day if they extend . Else we should go back to Internet and make the extension online ourselves. Later (online second booking for a day) is what we did at the end. |

The tastefully renovated Astoria Swiss Quality Hotel is situated close to the city centre on the Eigerplatz (motorway exit “Bern Forsthaus”). |
Behind the impressive Art-Nouveau facade of the Swiss Quality Hotel Bern in the vibrant city centre you will find stylish rooms, great cuisine and up-to-date meeting facilities. |
The Novotel Bern Expo is a 4 star hotel offering 112 rooms located opposite the BEA Bern Expo exhibition centre, the ice hockey stadium, the national horse riding centre and just a few minutes walk... |
The “Waldhorn”-estate was built at the turn of the last century and was operated as a restaurant in the forest. In 1981, the entire building was gutted, leaving only the original façade. |
