With this location, you don't want to stay in the center of town. Free parking, lovely view of the city from the higher floors, tram right in front of the hotel every ten minutes to the center, quiet, clean and comfortable room. |

hotel across the street from tram stop, extremely convenient to and from city centre and to train station. rooms were very clean and modern design. very comfortable beds. |

We enjoyed our stay at the Ambassador Bern. We were only there for 1 night. The woman that was working at the check-in desk the day we arrived was not very helpful at all. We asked where a good fondue restaurant would be, and she went on to tell me where a mexican restaurant was.....She aslo told us that the breakfast was included in the room price.... it wasn't! Other than her, I'd stay here again if I were to go back to Bern though. |

I was impressed by the staff, those at the desk and also at the restaurant. They were very friendly and helpful. I have recently stayed in a bunch of hotels in Switzerland and this was definitely one of the better ones.I wish the Lindner in Interlaken where I stayed had sent me a similar evaluation email as there staff was much less friendly and I would have like to communicate that to them The room was over the tram stop, not ideal but not terrible. |

The proximity the the river park turned out to be a wonderful surprise, 100s of People swimming down the river (chilly) was so fun. The park itself was great also, plenty of shade, pools, games, snack bar, lockers- Awesome. Public transporation perfect. Great Restaurant recommendations by the staff. Laundry was pricey. |
