Fleming's Hotel Zürich  

The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. The room was nicely organized.

Cleanness, relatively new, modern style furniture

Pilos were not good. A small space at the first floor is used for hotel lubby, reception, bar and canteen. Canteen chairs were like bar chairs, not comfortable. Lack of enough space was the main problem. I would rather say the hotel is a very good 3-star hotel not 4-star, due to lack of enough space. Otherwise, I would say that it is a very good hotel (overall evaluation).

Design, which is not common for Zurich; location (15 minutes walk to the Central station, 5 minutes walk to Paradeplatz).

The breakfast could have been better, the pure selection seems however to be usual for Zurich hotels.

It was very close to the Convention point, where I was organising the conference.

Conditioning was non-existant, so it was too hot to sleep, and I couldnt open the window as it was too noisy. So ended up not sleeping at all. Also, the shower in the middle of the room with glass walls, although interesting and might be intriguing if I was staying there with my partner, but as I was with my female colleague sharing the twin room, it was somewhat weird.

Location was excellent, a short walk from Bahnhof Str. The room was very modern, with the shower in the middle of the room. Breakfast was just ok.

We wanted to change our trip but the hotel would not let us cancel our reservation (two months in advance of our trip). this inflexibility left a sour taste with us. The hotel was understaffed - there was only one girl on breakfast and checkout duty so there was no comfort in breakfast: tables were dirty, the food came out in bits and pieces or not at all. the breakfast selection anyhow was poor. and bring your own pillow - it was just full of air.

Great location and a very competetive price.

The hotel prices in Zurich are super expensive, I was lucky to find such a quality hotel at a reasonable price. I only stayed one night, but the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

The room did get a little hot at night but there was a window. Some complained of the shower being in full view, but I thought it was kind of cool. The hotel seems to be situated in the heart of the business/banking area, so you have to look a little for night life. But really no complaints here.

The room was a good size but there were no extra pillows, blankets etc in the wardrobe. The shower arrangements were odd with the shower in the room. No tea or coffee making facilities.

Grande chambre, situation

Malgré réclamation, l'ampoule cassée de la lampe de chevet n'a pas été remplacée. Les linges mis au sol n'ont pas été remplacés pour la 2e nuit, un linge sale a même été ramassé du sol pour être remis sur la barre !!! Le personnel ne s'est pas excusé pour ces "problèmes".
