Flyhof - the oasis at Lake Walen is a family enterprise in a house made of wood and stone that was built over 500 years ago. A beautiful garden terrace shaded by an old linden tree has a wonderful view of the landscape and a direct access to Lake Walen with swimming access. It was just a wonderful old historic place to stay and such a beautiful area. The lady that runs it was so friendly and nice. The room was perfect. The breakfast and restaurant were great. What more could you ask.

Very very nice location. Large and bright rooms with sea view. Totally silent, no noise except bird songs when opening window. Beautyful old style hotel. Very clean and handsome. Absolutely fabulous restaurant with fresh dishes and very good wine list No private toilets...no drama

House is really old! Navigation will never find it, because it is not in the city, If you want to stay in this hotel bring your pillows!

The Flyof owners were very welcoming and friendly. The house is well- kept and we had a great meal in the downstairs restaurant. We took a hike in the mountains nearby -- the area is breathtaking and the lake is a beautiful shade of blue.

Excellent location with magnificent views over the Wanesee lake. Staff very nice and helpful. They speak fluent English and Spanish. I would recommend everybody.

The owner was very friendly and the staff amenable, food in restaurant was excellent, but a little expensive although by some Swiss prices ok'ish....good outside for a relaxed drink or meal with a terrace leading to the lake. The single rooms booked had a shared toilet which was not highlighted in description however the double rooms do state this, the single rooms do only say shower and bathrobe, which with hindsight obviously is meant to point you in the direction of "shared toilet" this at first impression on arrival was "oh!"......but the facility was absolutely spotless at all times, in a 500 year old building it would be difficult to change but a credit to the hotel as I said absolutely spotless which really is a tick to the owners, dont let it put you off.....oh and excellent location

De locatie, het was er rustig Het was een gedateerd hotel, sleutel, soort loper, ging slecht in het slot.Geen tv, wc op de gang, douche oud, matig ontbijt. Het personeel, de eigenaars waren zeer afstandelijk, er kon geen lachje af. Op maandag waren de eieren op, er was jam, kaas en wat ham.

Fijne huiselijke sfeer in een karakteristiek gebouw uitkijkend over het meer. Vriendelijke eigenares. Lekker ontbijt in een rustige ruimte met uitzicht. Ik zou een volgende keer weer in Flyhof verblijven!

Prachtig uitzicht op de Walensee, schone gezellige kamer met alle comfort. Toilet is op de gang wat niet storend is. Ontbijt goed verzorgd, vriendelijke eigenaars. Kom er zeker terug!

Семейный маленький отель, расположен непосредственно на красивейшем Walensee в городке Weesen, что в часе езды от Цюриха (если путешествуете на поезде из Цюриха, надо делать пересадку в Ziegelbrucke). Прекрасные хозяева и персонал, уютный ресторан, замечательная кухня. Зданию отеля 500 лет, есть собственный сад, выходящий прямо к озеру. Низкая стоимость проживания (правда, номера, мягко говоря, невелики). 1. От вокзала до отеля (3 км.) придется добираться пешком или заказывать машину заранее (централизованное такси в Weesene отсутствует). 2. Туалетов в одноместных номерах нет - удобства на этаже.

Sehr familiäres Ambiente, Zimmer sind antik und sehr liebevoll eingrichtet,aber trotzdem sind alle Annehmlichkeiten der heutigen Zeit vorhanden, wunderschöne Lage fast direkt am See, hübscher kleiner Garten mit Liegewiese und Steg zum See, Ich habe im Flyhof übernachtet weil ich Ruhe und Entspannung suchte-und die habe ich auch gefunden. gute Ausgangslage um zu wandern-viele Möglichkeiten

Ich Reise sehr viel. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist überproportional. Ich hatte mich auf ein ganz einfaches Hotel eingestellt. Umso mehr überrascht war ich über Zimmerkomfor, Menuekarte. Und sehr persönliches Ampiente. Werde ich in Zukunft weiterhin frequentieren. Auch mal für die Freizeit.

Lage am See, Architektur & Innenausstattung. Küche wäre sicher auch gut, war aber geschlossen (Wirtesonntag). Empfang und Verabschiedung nur mittelmässig freundlich. Wenig kundenorientierte zeitliche Flexibilität während der 2 Tage, wo nur Hotelbetrieb "offen" ist.
