O Gabbani é um hotel boutique novo, muito charmoso, localizado em cima de um empório numa das praças mais lindas de Lugano.

Good location..just in front of the funnicular station. Very nice decoration. Staff was helpful too,

The location of the hotel is very convenient, and its appearance very pleasant. The shop/cafe downstairs is nice. The decor in the public areas and the rooms was attractive. Breakfast items tasted nice though the selection was somewhat limited.

The classification of rooms by booking.com and the hotel are inconsistent, and indeed misleading. Having booked a suite, I'd expect to find a separate bedroom and living room. However, that was not the case - the 'suite' was simply a large room, with a lounge chair and some stools in it. Only the 'suite deluxe' would qualify as a suite. There was also a problem with the AC and it was not possible to get a separate heater so the room stayed fairly cold - not plesant in winter and a reason to leave earlier. Given the high price paid, I would not recommend the hotel.

The Gabbani fsmily did a great job in "totally refreshing" a historic building and former hotel in the Old District" of Lugano. The rooms are of very contemporary design and quite nice. It's in walking distance to most everything in the center of Lugano.

The bar isn't open in he evening and there is no all night receptionist.

Very interesting place with the restaurant and bakery below - lovely presence about it.

The location is perfectly for everything your want. (Shopping, Eating, Traveling) I like the interior design very much. It's look modern in every details. Internet is excellent. Have a air condition. Close to funicular.

You may confuse the location of the hotel. Because the sign of hotel is very small. And the first floor is open for restaurant. Price is quite high.

We arrived on Sunday, The girl at front desk said the room was going to be ready in less than 1 hour. We came back 1.5 hour later and there was nobody on front desk. We sat there for almost 1 hour with no staff present. The girl walks in from the streets checking her cellphone and doesn't say a word about not been there and making us wait. She already knew which room we were going to stay when we first got there and never checked us in and provided the keys ahead. We could have come back and go straight to our room instead of sitting there for 1 hour. She never asked how long we were waiting nor apologized for the wait. I bet her boss doesn't even know that she leaves the job unattended on Sundays at her own convenience.

Location wise this is perfect! You are right by the train coming down from the main train station (it's a really steep hill with bags!). The staff are super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed as well as some excellent recomendations for dinner. The air con in the room was invaluable! Breakfast is excellent and we ate a small snack at the restaurant downstairs and this too was really tasty. Can't really fault this place.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring Lugano.

It is a bit odd the way you enter the hotel through the cafe or restaurant., no real lobby.

The hotel is modern, clean and a short walk away from the main shopping areas and the lake. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

What is there not to like?

Location, service and room space. The hotel was renovated in March 2012. The rooms were just perfect.

New hotel & very clean & new modern furniture. Location of the hotel near every thing & it was next to Dante hotel & the funicolare (the way to main train station). The Lake is 3 minutes walk. The lift are not working during weekend from ground floor to 1st floor. You have to use the stairs to reach to first floor & this is very dificult is have your bags. You have to cary them up & there no one to help you. The brekfast is very poor no varity of selection. بالنسبة للمصعد ايام العطل لا يعمل من الطابق الارضي الى الطابق الاول حيث يوجد الاستقبال. يكون صعبا جدا اذ كنت تحمل حقائب في ايام العطل لأن ه لا توجد خدمة حمل الحقائب. الافطار ليس جيد وليس متنوع وموجود في الدور الارضي

Very friendly staff. Modern clean rooms with A/C. Location. Free high speed WIFI in room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Suggest that they have some english channels on their nice flat screen TV.

This hotel is like no other hotel! We had to admire every little detail of our room. The ground floor cheese/fruit/wine shop was like a dream. The minibar items were included in the room price... First time in my life when I did not have to feel like a looser teenager at check out, asking about my alcohol consumption last night.

In the heart of Lugano, this new design hotel is the ideal choice if you wish to have a view on the Lugano daily life and an excellent accomodation. Rooms are large, comfortable, warm and very well furnished. Friendly personnel and very good food is served both for breakfast and in the hotel restaurant at lunch and dinner. Not so expensive as its peers. We would have like to spend some more days there if we were not in a hurry. Strongly recommended.

la salle de bains spacieuse, pas de bruit ds l'hôtel ,les chambres et les salles de bains soignées et refaites avec goût

la chambre trop petite ,la fenêtre donnant sur le mur sans aucune vue! la climatisation bruyante .Le prix est un peu trop élevé pour notre chambre :190FR aurai suffi mais pas 225 .-

Hotel Gabbanissa on erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, huoneet ovat modernit, tyylikkäät ja siistit, ja hotellin sijainti on keskeinen. Lisäksi hotellissa tarjoillaan todella herkullista ruokaa, joka on tyylikkäästi aseteltu lautaselle. Vaikka et yöpyisikään hotellissa, niin suosittelen pistäytymään vaikkapa lounaalle tai illalliselle -et tule pettymään sillä hinta-laatusuhde on erinomainen! Hotelliin kuuluu myös juustopuoti ja leipomo, josta voi ostaa herkullisia tuliaisia. Kaiken kaikkiaan suosittelen lämpimästi hotellia kaikille Luganossa matkaileville!

Jos asiakas toivoo hotellihuoneeltaan upeita vuoristomaisemia, tämä hotelli ei niitä tarjoa, koska hotelli on keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Ranta ja vuoristomaisema avautuu noin 100 metrin päässä hotellista.

La struttura è moderna, raffinata, originale e comodissima per chi arriva in treno o autobus. Lo staff è gentilissimo, preparato ed ha grande rispettom per il cliente. Soggiorno piacevolissimo.

Das ist das schönste Hotel das wir je besucht haben. Bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll gestaltet. Sehr schöne Materialien und jeder Raum anders. Sehr liebenswürdiges, freundliches Personal. Einfach alles perfekt. Das Frühstücksangebot ist nicht riesig, aber alles in hervorragende Qualität. Super Kaffe. Auch die Fleisch und Käse waren äusserst fein und von bester Qualität. Das schön auf einer restaurierten Werkbank hergerichtete Buffet hat uns sehr begeistert. Auch im Restaurant , in der Bar und dem dazu gehörenden Laden, der zum schlemmen verführt ist alles perfekt und mit viel liebe zum Detail gestaltet.
