The Hotel Garni Millennium used to be the tax house of Locarno and was completely renovated in 2000. The tastefully furnished rooms with bright colours and a wonderful view of the Lago Maggiore provide a familiar ambiance. This and a varied breakfast buffet in the morning will help make your stay unforgettable.

Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00.

Area information

There are a lot of things to discover around the Lago Maggiore. For example:
- The Lago Maggiore Express; An exciting trip by train and boat through the impressive Valley "Centovalli" from Locarno to Domodossola and then to Stresa, where you will change to the boat, visiting the island "Isola Bella" and returning to Locarno.
- Discover the Valley "Valle Maggia" or "Valle Verzasca" with its clear water, traditional villages, food and impressive rocks.
- Climbing, canoeing, skydiving, bungee jumping and so on. The whole area is also suited for biking or hiking.

* From the railway station: Walk 2 minutes towards the lakeside
* From the railway station by taxi: Fare about CHF 10

By car

* Take the motorway in the direction of Bellinzona, Locarno
* Take the exit Locarno (after the Tunnel Morettina)
* Head towards centre (Centro indicated)
* Follow the road until you reach the boat landing
* Oposite the boat landing is the HOTEL GARNI MILLENNIUM

Important information

Only the Luxury Room with Lake View and Balcony and the Double Room with Balcony and Lake View are big enough for an extra bed or a cot. So please inform the hotel in advance if you come with children.

There is only a limited number of parking spaces right at the hotel, but you can easily find a place to park in the surroundings (e. g. at a guarded multi-storey car park (24-h ticket) or in public parking spaces which are free from 18:00 to 08:00)
