I love the convenience, the design of the hotel. The staff was very friendly.

The coffee is horrible. I wish there was a toaster to have the breads toasted.

That I have to pay for parking. It was not mentioned at the booking time.I did not pay the year before.

Location excellent as short walk to train station. On arrival very warm welcome from Carolina (?) who gave us a lot of useful information. Breakfast also good and would certainly go back to this hotel.

Eccellent balconies with Lago Maggiore views. 3 minute walk to lakeshore trails. 4 minute walk to train station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms. Good experience in Locarno.

Close to Lake Maggiore, with helpful staff who provided information for walks and local transport. Clean and modern premises that had recently been renovated.

Had a wonderful stay with my love. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly and the breakfast was well balanced something we both enjoyed. We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Locarno on a budget.

Nothing worth mentioning, only maybe that the pictures on the hotel description showed both a bath and a shower, but who need both anyway.

It is very clean; 1 walking minute next to train and bus station; 2 walking minutes to town center and lake; very friendly and helpfull staff; rooms at 4th and 5th floor have a great view on the lake.

Central, simple, high quality accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Great central location, 180 degree views of Locarno, the lake and surrounding mountains. Accommodation is clean, modern and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

A very comfortable stay. Hotel was well located, only a few minutes walk from the central area. Our room had a marvelous view of the lake and mountains. Rooms were modern, well appointed and comfortable. Staff at the hotel we efficient and friendly. Breakfast was the of good standard and consisted of the usual European fare - cereals, cheeses, meats, breads and fruit. Would recommend to others as a place to stay.

Everything. We were one of two couples (both rooms booked together) who were visiting to run the Marathon of Ticino. At the time of booking we requested an early breakfast, before the race, and a late check out afterwards. A brief excahnge of emails later and everything was arranged. Things don't always work out as planned, but on arrival the receptionist was expecting us, and was happy to point out that all the arrangements, as we wanted, were arranged - no problem. Apart from that the rooms were clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was great. Parking was easy, etc. etc. If you're going to go to this area do yourself a favour - STAY HERE!!!

Fairly good location at a 5 minute walking distance from the center and the lake- however it's pretty steep up the hill but no problem at all. Quite a good welcome and the room has all you need. If you want to have real lake view (not just a view between 2 buildings) I would advise to ask for a room on the 4th or 5th floor. Good value for the price However you notice a bit that it has been refurbished- quite nicely done though with a lot of modern elements in and a nice balcony but I would still rate it as a 3 star hotel due to the limited space of the hotel.

The hotel is not on the main road but cars pass the hotel quite fast which you can hear. Limited free parking spaces available- I got in around 9 in the evening and had to park in the street- even though you do not have to pay until 7AM when I put in money in the evening before (so that I could sleep longer) I was told that this didn't work so that I'd have to get up at 7 and put more money in. Breakfast was continental- quite ok but could go with some warm things to make it more interesting.

What a fantastic hotel. Well located and a perfect view of the lake. Many amenities, and should be rated 4 star. One of the best hotels i have stayed at.

Even though I was lucky enough to find a place to park my car close to the hotel almost every night ,but I think park should be free for the hotel customers.
