The Hotel has a very good location, almost directly on the Lungolago and the lake. The personnel was absolutely wonderfull land the rooms were, allthough simple, sufficiently furnished and airconditioned. Breakfast is good, with a certified eggcooker ;-) In the neighbouring room we could hear the other guests very good, but that was mostly because they had the TV on very loud and the lady in the room had a cold, so we heard her coughing. Atnight it was quiet, so we did get a good night rest.

This is a terrific little hotel very close to the waterfront in Ascona. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that we had a good stay. We would recommend to anyone looking to visit the Ascona/Locarno area.

We were only spending one night in Ascona - arrived late in the evening - extremly friendly welcome - all information provided immediately. Given choice of room towards street or "quiet" room to the back. Would highly recommend. The price of the room was high for a 3 * hotel - due to high season - film festival etc.

Very friendly staff - helpful to recommend interesting places to go to and kind to make restaurant reservations. Delicious breakfast and very thoughtful staff to make us more croissants and cheese when we arrived late. Excellent location just off the main boulevard. I would recommend and would visit again in the future. Some extra pillows would have been helpful. The rooms were very well looked after.

Ich war schon einmal im Hotel Garni Golf und habe es bewusst ausgewählt, weil mir der unkomplizierte Service und die Freundlichkeit gefallen haben. Ausserdem ist die Lage einfach top: ruhig, aber absolut zentral gelegen.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Der Service stimmt, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben,. In diesem Stadtteil ist es halt schwierig direkt am Hotel zu parkieren. Wenn es nicht stöhrt etwas zu Fuss zu gehen ist das aber kein Problem. (Bewegung ist ja gesund)
