Gasthaus Alpenblick

Our room was large, clean, bright, and very comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The setting was like being in paradise. We had a most enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return here if we are ever in Switzerland again.

een vriendelijkheid die je nergens nog vindt. een pluim voor deze uitbaters. doe zo verder. zeer lekker ontbijt. het restaurant is de woensdag gesloten, dus niet van kunnen genieten, maar de baas wist mij een ander goed restaurant aan te bevelen. een nette kamer met schitterend uitzicht En een internet verbinding die sneller is dan het licht.

Wonderful service and very friendly owner. Hotel is situated at a great location, right next to a train stop and especially convenient if you are not driving and want to explore Alpstein easily and on public transport. The hotel is set in a nice, quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by farms and lots of greeneries. Also surprising was the very larges and spacious room, well equipped with modern and new amenities (seems that the hotel was rebuilt not so long ago). Last but not least, really good food served in the hotel restuarant, for dinners as well as for breakfast. Would definintely return to stay when visitng Alpstein or Appenzel.

What could we say: Everything about Gasthaus Alpenblick was good. We had been travelling for 6 weeks in a car staying in city and village hotels. This was the best. What more could you want in Switzerland. Our room looked out over a small Swiss Village. Houses and church with chiming clock one way, mountains and farms and farm houses all around, a small regional train running past every half hour and cows with bells in the field nearby.Then there was the food and the hosts Micheal and his wife. Could not have been more welcoming. An ideal place to stay as a base and do daily walks in the Swiss Mountains. A good central base for it. Definitely on the list for next time and stay longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice view. Close to main attraction points. The owner and also the chef of the hotel recommended us the places to see. He was so nice to us. Very clean and big rooms. Good food. We would definitely stay there again.

Gasthaus Alpenblick suited our family holiday perfectly. It is ideally located away from the big cities in the countryside. The owner/chef, Michael, was there to great us with a friendly smile and handshake and went beyond what was necessary to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The food and service was as good as any that we had come across in our travel in the bigger cities, but with a home touch that you can't find in the larger towns. If you want to step slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns and yet have wonderful service and accommodations, we would recommend Michael's Gasthaus Alpenblick.

The room with the balcony and the views around was great,, The restaurant serves good food., we enjoyed very much our staying and especcialy the welcoming of the owner Michael !

Nette kleine Zimmer mit modernem Bad. Sehr freundliches Personal - sehr zuvorkommend und sehr gutes Essen :)

Wenn überhaupt der Kirchturm auf der anderen Seite vom Tal - nervt halt kurz mal morgens um 6...

Zeer gastvrij, goede keuken en prettige ligging. Reizen in de omgeving, met de door het Hotel beschikbaar gestelde, is zeer aangenaam.

Perfekte Lage, wundervolle Landschaft Sehr nette und gastfreundliche Eigentümer, freundliches Personal Feines Essen - dies gilt für das Frühstücksbuffet wie à la Carte --> jederzeit empfehlenswert

Superbe situation, bon restaurant et bon petit déjeuner. Accueil sympathique. Notre chambre avec balcon était grande et de bon confort.

Attention à ceux qui sont sensibles aux cloches de l'église voisine, elles sonnent toute la nuit.

الفندق ممتاز في منطقة عجيبة من ناحية الطبيعة والمناظر الخلابة والساحرة التعامل كان راااائعاً من طاقم الفندق

كان اختياري للفندق من أجل اطلالة رائعة لكني تفاجئت بموقع الغرفة جانبية بدون بلكونة أصابني ذلك بالإحباط على الرغم من وجود غرف معها بلكونه لكنهم اعتذرو مني بأن الفندق ممتلئ الفندق يقع في منطقة ريفية بعيدة عن المناطق السياحية المعروفة لن القرية يوجد بها الكثير من الفعاليات ويكفي فيها المناظر الساحرة

Freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre. Personal hilft bei allen Problemchen ( Stromadapter, etc.). Hervorragendes Restaurant in Speisen und Getränken. Nicht zu vergessen, das Ausblick vom Balkon *****

Wonderful location with beautiful views of the Alps and surrounding Swiss countryside. The staff was very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating to our needs. We cannot recommend them highly enough, and have already encouraged friends to consider staying at the Alpenblick.

Nothing that anyone could have done anything about... It rained much of our four-day stay, but the staff even provided us with loaner umbrellas.

Super feines Essen, hübsche, gemütliche neue Zimmer; Top sauber!! Wurden vom einheimischen Gasrgeberpaar sehr nett empfangen.Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Hotel. Eine Adresse zum weiter empfehlen, einfach toll, dass es solche Häuser gibt.

Freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre, geräumiges heimeliges Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht und Balkon.Sehr gut unmittelbar oberhalb vom Bahnhof gelegen, Wanderwege vor der Haustür beginnend.
