La sympathie du personnel, le beau cadre, le lit confortable. Le bus est tout proche et le paysage extra. Le billet gratuit illimité pour tous les transports des quelques communes autour de l'hotel est bien utile.

Une seule chose, qui est typique partout dans les monde germanique: les deux couvertures séparées, petites, très très chaudes, et les coussins tout mous.

Nice and cozy guesthouse, simple but delicious breakfast, great service. Plus they give you tranport card, which allows you to travel for free in the region - it becomes really useful as all the attractions, dining places etc. are a bit further to the Interlaken or other towns.

They failed to let us know they didn't open early on the weekend as they did weekdays which meany we weren't able to check out before we left.

The owners of the hotel were friendly. The room was clean. You can walk to the hotel from Interlaken Ost. It takes just 10 min.

We ended up in a small cramped room that felt like a basement clauset, with an uncomfortable bed (sagging), very small window, not much ventilation while it was very hot. In essence a very budget room for a non-budget price. Then again, it looks like the hotel does have much better rooms in other parts. All in all, make sure you get one of the better rooms or this room for a reasonable price to begin with.

Convenient location, clean rooms, nice breakfast, easy parking, lovely views of the mountains.

There was a significant ant infestation in one of the two rooms (single and double) I reserved. The staff sprayed to kill the ants, but we were not offered any kind of discount to offset the lost sleep from the one night that the ants were crawling all over the bed in the double room. I would have expected to receive that night free of charge, especially since the hotel was fully booked and unable to offer us another ant-free room! For this reason alone, I would not recommend Gasthof Schoenegg to other travelers.

The breakfast was excellent

Our room had a lovely view overlooking Interlacken and the mountains. We also appreciated the breakfast that was included in the price. The variety of food was good, which included meats, cheese, boiled eggs, cereals, fruit and big mugs of coffee! We were able to sit on the patio for breakfast and enjoy the great view. We were also pleased that the owner spoke good English, which was helpful when we needed information about the various attractions, etc. Our stay included city bus transportation, which was a handy thing to have, otherwise it was about a 20 minute walk uphill to the hotel from Interlacken East.

An excellent place to stay. Has a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner/manager of the hotel is extremely warm and helpful. Nice, comfortable and clean rooms/sheets. Excellent experience for us.

The lady managing the hotel greeted us well and made us feel comfortable. The view from the hotel window and the terrace (where break fast was served) was fantastic. The location although away from the city was well connected by bus which runs every hour to Interlaken Ost railway station and city centre.

The bathroom was shared between two rooms. I must confessed that this information was shared with us on the web site..

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room given to us was also very well kept and we were given a room as per our choice. We really had a good time here.
