wonderful, warm and cosy room. the couple Stephan and Janna who run the place are welcoming and very hospitable. The view from the rooms of the lake is breathtaking and a fantastic sit-out for breakfast is worth the price for this place. we were pleased with our stay. They even gave us a ride to the station early on Sunday morning when there was no bus available, extremely nice gesture.

it located on the side of river, good view and overlook, especially have breakfast on the outside lounge.

it is a little bit far from train station for walking.

Needs good instructions for walking to the hotel from the railway station on the web site for the convenience of guests. The various mapping web sites do not get this right because of the local knowledge needed to access the big bridge.

We ended up in a small cramped room that felt like a basement clauset, with an uncomfortable bed (sagging), very small window, not much ventilation while it was very hot. In essence a very budget room for a non-budget price. Then again, it looks like the hotel does have much better rooms in other parts. All in all, make sure you get one of the better rooms or this room for a reasonable price to begin with.

Friendly staff, wonderful view over the river and of the mountains. Good location - much quieter than in Interlaken, but close by to get to other places.

It's a shame the restaurant is now closed although they do serve breakfast.

An excellent place to stay. Has a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner/manager of the hotel is extremely warm and helpful. Nice, comfortable and clean rooms/sheets. Excellent experience for us.

O Hotel é excelente! é limpo, os donos são bem atenciosos, é barato comparado com os outros hotéis da cidade.

O acesso não é facil a pé, mas o hotel disponibiliza cartão para utilizar o ônibus local.

Отель соответствует своем описанию. Дружелюбный, в большинстве англоговорящий, персонал. Красивые виды. Большая кружка хорошего кофе на завтрак. Предоставили транспортную карту на автобус.

Не работал ресторан. До ближайшего надо ехать в город на автобусе.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, Badezimmer sauber und klein aber funktional nicht mehr ganz neu, traumhafter Blick beim Frühstück auf der Terasse. Sehr freundlicher Service. Parkplatz direkt am Gasthof.

Sanitärausstattung(Bad) könnte etwas neuer sein. Matratze zufriedenstellend, könnte etwas bequemer sein.

You can have a breakfast with a great scenery. And if you travel by rent car, This hotel(hostel) is very convenient to go to Interlarken OST station. If you are a train traveler, contact to hotel on e-mail regarding the transportation. When we checked in hotel, they gave us a kind of local bus ticket.

We stayed second floor. A spiral stair w/o lift is not easy, even danger if you have a luggage. And there is no fridge and A/C.
