Ibis Genève Centre Nations is in the center of Geneva, just half a mile from Cornavin Train Station.
Score from 1222 reviews Very good
Benefiting from a prime location opposite the Main Train Station of Geneva, Hotel Bernina is adjacent to a big shopping center and only a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva.
Score from 1052 reviews Good
The Hotel de Geneve is only a 3-minute walk away from the train station and 5 minutes from the center of the city and the banks of Lake Geneva.

Too expensive for basic hotel needs
Good location, the staff were very friendly and helpful and there was good wifi signal in the room.
Staff was super nice, breakfast was decent (though not free by any means), great shower, parking was safe and free on the street right there after 7 pm, hotel was about 5 blocks to walk into town on that side of the lake/river. 10-15 minute drive to airport on just a couple of main roads.
Bear 2 things in mind: Geneva is insanely expensive ($30 burger slider dinners at some restaurants), and this is an Ibis. So what you get is almost like a large travel camper designed by Ikea as a room. Tiny, no room for luggage or 2 people to pass at the foot of the bed, no bathroom amenities and only 2 thin bath towels, no coffee - very spartan, and that was for $200+ for 2 plus breakfast for one night. Welcome to the city of the Swiss Franc.
I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station. However I felt unsafe walking from the train station to the hotel. I didn't realize that it was not in a great part of town. Very expensive for its location. Very basic hotel, no extras.
Location very good, near pharmacy, grocery, train station, 10-minute walk across the bridge from the centre-ville, etc. Staff helpful, facilities new and clean, all the basics there (mini-room service, bar/seating area, computer, free WiFi, basic free shampoo/soap).
Some of the staff could've been friendlier, but they were all knowledgeable and willing to help. Maybe not the best value for our money, but Geneva's expensive.
Walk distance from Cornavin Station.
Breakfast is poor. The room is warm despite the heating was off, (air conditioning was not working), which makes us open the window to lt fresh air comes in. The problem is the noise.
Would not stay here again, if I returned to Geneva. Location was poor, bed uncountable and for the cost the standard was very poor. Would choose the Ibis styles across from the station next time.
Ten minutes from the station in a quiet location and only a short walk to the city centre.
We were provided with free transport tickets in Geneva. Staff were great and very helpful.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Only 5-10 mins walk from the station, the lake and the shops. Wifi was free and fast with a good signal (although I was only on 1st Floor). You also get a free geneva-wide travelcard for all public transport for the duration of your stay. I asked for a quiet room, which it was.It was also clean and comfortable. It was not a big room but fine for the price and with a big comfy bed.
Street next to it is not well lit. However it feels safe and you can walk down to main road which is moments away. Not the hotel's fault though, which has a well lit lobby and what appeared to be a 24/7 presence in reception.
Location，not far away from Railway station
Be careful of this hotel，they made pre-authoration on my credit card two weeks before my arrival but the staff won't admit this action！Either their system has bug or the staff issue！They just said it is not a real charge so doesn't matter，I won't choose this hotel again and my suggestion is keeping away from it，since they don't care your money！
Functional hotel, clean and comfortable, useful for travellers.
No parking around
No free drinking botte of water in room
location price staff helpful and friendly
lack of equipment in room, such as water cooker.
Check in time took 15mins, the slowest ibis I've ever staied across three different countries.
Not much facility available No compensatory water in the room.
+ The location - walkable distances from the bus station, the train station as well as other key spots on that side of the town + The service - helped us call for a taxi; were prompt with room cleaning + The very, very helpful receptionist - Eduard - very kind and congenial man. He should get promoted!
- Rooms were too small considering we were travelling with a baby; they should have been more considerate and given a bigger room; especially considering they did seem to have rooms available - Bathrooms were too tiny - Breakfast was limited and bland for the price offered
The cost of the breakfast
They finally relented and hopefully stand by their word by sending me back my phone which I forgot when I checked out in a hurry.
I left my phone there upon checkout. Contacted the hotel immediately as I knew that I forgot it when we reached the train station but no time to return to retrieve it. They wanted to charge me a lot to send it back to me until I told them that another hotel chain had just done the same thing at no charge to me for a jacket that I left. Then they finally said that they would send it back by post. What happened to customer service as I was a regular user of their hotels ? Why do hotels try to get the last cent out of their guests? Was not appreciated ...
free internet connection, large bed, quiet surroundings. well in centre.
soundproofing of the doors is not the best, so if there are any noisy guests at night, you will immediately know it.
good, comfortable rooms
