Clean and great location. Nice size room.
The immediate neighborhood is a little seedy, but thi does not detract from the great location of the hotel.
Location, near to Geneva Lake & the main train station.
We arrived at 14:00 PM, allowed to check in at 17:00 PM because the previous guest asked for late check out & the room was not ready for us. Room was full of smoke smell, & under the sofa pillows it was full of dirt. Asked for an iron machine for 24 hrs, & given one after repeated calls. Nothing done to satisfy us or to abologize for the delay in check in except a free drink at the mini bar.
They serve a good breakfast and the staff were very asccommodating.
Our room needed a jolly good clean which clearly hadn't happened for a long time. The bathroom was in desperate need of a scrub with filthy grout in tiles and corners everywhere. The carpet was filthy and the toilet badly stained. We felt the need to use a face cloth to wipe surfaces before we used them!
It has parking garage.
Bad location. Asked the staff at the reception desk for a wake-up call on my day of departure, but never got the call. Long wait to get any help from staff, sometimes 20-30 mins just to get parking validated. Very noisy from the street garbage pick-up early in the morning. You can hear TV from the room next door. Ordered room service, food was not very good, expected much better quality for the money Would not recommend.
Carelessness and ignorance of remarks written during booking. The hotel staff's aim is to get you out of her/his face by providing short cuts and escape away. Room's roof have had two large water stain. Bathroom's amenity are poor and towels are old.
The room was smell like a 5 person was smoking in the room towels smels bad as well
I have enjoyed staying in the hotel which the rooms are big and free wifi The location is perfect near the center and the lake also all kind of restaurants around
Only the pillows are not comfortable i strongly recommend the hotel to change thise sequar pillows
Noises from in and out of the hotel. One of the worst mini bar ever ( the cups was paper or plastic! ) The check in was 1 hours late. The lugged was left in the car for so long we had to take it in to the hotel by ourselves (there was a sing not to leave your lugged we are not RESPONSIBLE) The carpet was miserable The tap water was stink!! The neighborhood was horrible and scary. The broken mirrors and signs on the corridor. The room serves has to be one star hotel ( when i ask for any thing i have to go to the front disk to get it) The smell of the towels and the bed sheets..
the front desk girls are very nice and friendly, the help me with every thing
Location, staff was good.
I had a guaranteed rate of $775 US for 3 nights. I was charged $829. No big deal but not right or what I expected.
WiFi Connection good. Nice bar Slept ok
Unsavoury neighbourhood, care needed when walking away from hotel. Room decor needs refreshing Smelly sink
Rooms are wide and clean. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Staff are smart and helpfull.
The area of the hotel located is not a safe place. In every corner there is a lots of prostitute and drug dealers. They have a indoor car park but its not fit for big cars!!!
Proximity to station and lake
Activities in the neighborhood
No info that car parking entrance is only 1,70 m high, so if you have any type of a family car or SUV- our case- you will simply have to find a public parking somewhere else. We came at 1 a.m. and wasted about one hour to find an available parking, disassemble bike rack and come back to the hotel. The district in which the hotel is located is full of drug dealers and street walkers, so our way back from the parking was basically a runaway from the pretty aggressive dealers on every corner of the street. Having said the above, the dirty bathroom with a huge glass wall just by the toilet and lack of the tv remote control seems to be nothing strange. Definitely not a swiss standard that I'm used to.
Overall it's a nice hotel, good sized rooms, nice breakfast, and walking distance from Gare du Cornavin which is the public transport hub in Geneva.
The shower is built in a completely senseless stupid way, every single time i showered, the water was all over out in my room, no matter what trick I tried.
The staff was very informative and friendly the restaurants breakfast was fantastic
Parts of the location was a bit dirty
Friendly staff, clean room.
Air conditioner ineffective. Neighborhood was a little rough.
Great group of staff, clean hotel, quality fittings and furnishings
Terrible that the windows don't open AND the AC only adjusts 2 degrees: I was chilly all the time in my room TV never really worked
Close to Ciy Centre
Rooms could need a renovation. Overpriced for what is offered - typically Geneva
Staff were friendly and helpful
Stain on carpet. Un comfy pillows
Proximity to train station within walking distance was great and that it was close to the beautiful lake was grand. The breakfast area is nice and bright, also the lobby too which is quite inviting. Love the fact they had a sauna which was really good and a relaxation area with a pretty modest gym too.
Didn't really like the arrangement of the rooms. The bath is separated from the room by frosted french windows. Not that it's the fault of the hotel but one of the streets harbors not so nice characters at night. They don't bother guests but not what you would expect for this standard of hotel. Don't be mistaken, Airline crew staff lodge there so its not a big deal. Elevators are tiny too but I guess thats to be expected in Europe.
Everything was good
location- close to ITU, restaurant and the lake, if you manage to avoid the red district.
at check out one of the female staff told me that she arranged for our airport transfer and then she left as her shift ends and asked us to wait for the taxi, after waiting for like 15 mins, I went back to the reception and there was no arrangement made!
tv not working. warm water with fails. too expensive.
