Great hotel with fantastic views from bedrooms. Great location near First lift. The hotel has been in the same family for 110 years and you can tell they are passionate about it. The evening meals are simple excellent food and are great value at 39chf for four courses. |

Received a wonderfully warm welcome from our hosts after being collected from the train station. Were always willing to provide advice and nothing was too hard for them to do. The gorgeous weather and beautiful views from our room topped off a lovely weekend break. |

The owners really made us feel very welcome, and went out of there way to accommodate us. We liked having breakfast and dinner at the hotel and found both meals were very good. We also liked the fact that the hotel was away from the busy downtown area. |

The warm welcome, the family oriented friendly hotel staff, the beautiful rooms, the relaxing and gorgeous views, the quaintness of it all. No hustle and bustle. Absolutely nothing to worry about when staying here. The breakfasts were perfect and the meals wonderful! Only a personal pillow issue: I should have asked for another pillow. They are too flat for my liking. |

Well managed and very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Our room didn't have Eiger view but large and good enough for a family with 2 young children. We had dinners on 2 nights at the hotel restaurant (open only for hotel guests) which can be highly recommnded. |

Well hostitalized, at-home feeling, staff with good smile especially owner wife and husband. For us with small baby, coin laundry facility was really convenient and well helped. Location is at the side of road. In the room, it's no issue as door is well shut off from outside noise, but, at balcony noised against good mountain view. Anyway, this can be accepted aganst the total satisfaction. |

We liked very much the hotel. It's lovely, quiet hotel, the staff are very concerned about every visitor, the food (breakfast) is very good and tasty, It's location is very convenient to drive or walk to the railway station and other places. The room was big, very nice and clean and the view from the room was wounderful. |

The hotel was warm and friendly with comfortable, clean rooms and old-world charm. The family who runs it is very knowledgeable and service-oriented and speaks excellent english. The views are unbelievable! This was not an issue for us because we had a car and love to hike, but it is a bit far (and uphill) from the center of town and train station which might be a problem if someone needed to carry luggage or wasn't a strong walker. |

The 4-star family Hotel Spinne is located at the foot of the Eiger, right in the centre of the glacier village Grindelwald. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace offering superb mountain views. |
