Wonderful location right in the middle of the old town. Place was spotlessly clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a bit "camper van" style, but adequate and clean. Nowhere where you can park a car cheaply. we paid 28 francs per night. |

The location, accessible to all major sights and places of interest. The decor of the hotel, as it was newly renovated, but still retained its old world charm. |

The hotel is ideally located for the centre of the old town of Bern, in easy walking distance to historical sites, museums, shopping and a large range of restaurants. Our room was small but clean and the room was quiet. It had a safe but no "bar" fridge. Hotel staff were helpful and polite and the lift was particularly helpful for taking our luggage.up 3 floors. A small fridge in the room would have been helpful but otherwise no complaints. |

The location was convenient and easy to find. The hotel was great for a solo traveller, good pubs nearby. The staff were friendly. The room was very small. The location was across the street from a busy pub so there was noise from the street in the evening. |

Located in the Old Town Center. They advertise Complimentary Wireless Internet in the Hotel But all they have is a Shared PC with Viruses in the lobby. We had to purchase a wlan card from Swisscom in order to use the Internet without worry. The room is very Basic and the bathroom is constructed from Plastic. Very different but OK! |

Very comfortable location,in the city center, 2 minutes walking distance to the bus and tramway station, 7 minutes to the train station, closed to the shops.Good breakfast, not so varied, but for us enough. If you are 2 peaple in the room the using of the bathroom may to cause a problem. In practice the bathroom is not isolated/gate of the box/ and there is noises during the using and ligth from the bathbox which ligth up the room.Very noise during the night from the restorant closed to the hotel.I advise you to take room with view to the inner courtyard. In the cold weather when the windows are closed there is no problem with the street noise. |

The hotel claims to be situated in a quiet location which is a blatant lie. It is about 100m from the famous Berne clocktower which wakes the dead every hour on the hour. Even in the quiet courtyard rooms it was unbearable. Do not stay there unless you are deaf. |

Very good location, clean and friendly. Computer for email in reception area, Wifi in room available for purchase, but reasonably cheap. Rooms small, odd bathroom (modern design, but very small and thin walls, ie. lack of privacy), breakfast overall good, but if you come within last half hour of breakfast you may miss out on most things, they aren't refilled by default. |

Excellent location in the Altstadt, tram and bus links practically outside the door. Extremely comfortable bed, cosy decor in a super clean, well maintained room. Probably worth paying extra for courtyard room, slept soundly every night. I have a mobility disability and I found the shower set up very user friendly and accessible Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Handy also to have access to pc and internet in reception area. Convenient restaurant with lovely hearty food downstairs in the hotel which was great to come back to after sightseeing, but also no shortage of good restaurants nearby. I'll definitely be back! |

The location was very good. The lift was broken our entire visit; we were on the top floor. (And the Bears were at the Zoo not in their pits.) Another guest was able to open our door with her key-card! The front desk had no explination as to how this could happen. Everything in Switzerland, including this hotel, was over-priced. Go to Bern for the charming town and cathedral especially; but don't go for the people or prices. |

The Hotel was centrally located for sight-seeing which was ideal for us. The lift was out of order from Friday until Monday which was inconvenient for us. Our room was on the second floor. The buffet breakfast was extremely basic, particularly on the Sunday morning. We would have expected a better selection given the rating of the Hotel. |

Located in the center Bern. Public car parking is 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can put your car at first in front of the hotel, then after checking in you move your car to the pablic parking (28F/day). expensive, but common in Swiss |

The hotel has no parking possibility. It was nearly impossible to find a park house, becaus of the oe-way-streets. Our car was full with baggage we could not leave simply on a street. With no luggage and no car the hotel ist perfect for a city trip. |

Location was the best, right in old town and very easy to find with lots of atmosphere and walking distance to everything you want to see. Rooms were small, but very nice, refurbished about a year ago I think and done really tastefully, I was there two nights and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again if I was in Bern. Gentleman that checked me in was so lovely, and I was expected, the receptionist was very helpful also. |

Restaurant The bathroom was made from transparent plexiglass affording no privacy. The room had no air conditiong making it necessary to keep the windows open all night. becasue o fthis you had to listen to things going on in all other rooms. The hotel actually required a $ 5 Franc deposit for room plastic key cards. For a price that a family on a moderate income seemed high, the value was quite low. |

I liked the way the bathroom had been put into the room in its own 'cupboard' and was, therefore, like a wet room. There was plenty of storage for clothes, although we only stayed one night so didn't use it all. It was a shame that the bedroom window looked out onto the atrium as you could hear the other people in their rooms due to the windows having to be open as it was so hot but I suspect we would not have liked the front of the hotel as it was quite a noisy street, so we con't really complain. |

It is located right in the heart of the city with easy access from the train station and to everything in the city. There was no airconditioning and the windows open only slightly. On warm days it can get a little uncomfortable. |
