The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The mountain bikes are very useful for us. The room for breakfast is very clean and can see the view of Aare river and snow mountain. It is a nice and perfect hotel suitable for holiday.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Every query was handled as if you were a family member. Washing done, tickets booked, all with a smile. When you returned, the staff were interested as to how your day went. The bathroom could be updated.

Quiet location just 5 mins walk from busy Interlaken main street and 8 minute walk to train stations. Riverside situation with views of Jungfrau (though spoilt a little by ugly Metropole Hotel tower block). Worth extra cost of view as rooms at back look out on cliff face. Very adequate breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. All round a good choice of hotel. Very small bathroom. Room quite hot at night - weather was exceptionally warm for March. Slept one night with balcony door open but that allowed train noise to penetrate.

Very friendly staff. Very good parking in front of the hotel. The hotel has a very beautiful view. The bathroom for partial mountain view rooms are very tight and without ventilation. Better bathrooms on rooms with view to parking lot.

Excellent staff, friendly, Cooperative and helpful. The location is very good, the hotel is by the rover and few minutes walking to the main street that connects the two main train stations. I loved the idea of Providing free bikes for the guests. No aircon. Limited breakfast selection. No iron in the room, they have a room where u can go to press your clothes but yet, it would have been better if u have it in your room.

Excellent,welcoming friendly helpful staff. Lovely room overlooking river. Very short walk to centre, but in an attractive and quiet location. Welcoming afternoon tea when we arrived - complimentary. Liked everything about this hotel!

The hotel has an excellent outlook being right on the River Aare with only a walking and cycling track in front, thus being very quiet, but in close walking distance to shops and restaurants in central Interlaken via a footbridge over the river and also only a 15 to 20 minute walk to Interlaken Ost railway station. Our room (4th floor) had a great view of the mountains including the Jungfrau and a good sized balcony. The hotel also has a very nice riverfront guests' lounge. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and there was a good breakfast buffet as well as free tea, coffee and cakes in the lounge in the afternoon. There is also free wifi internet. The building and rooms are a bit dated. Although very quiet there is some noise from trains on the rail bridge over the river. It was reasonably expensive, however probably comparable to Switzerland generally and Interlaken in particular. The south east facing (I.E. riverfront) rooms have such a good view that they are well worth paying extra for.

We stayed for 7nights in a lovely room facing the river. The room had a balcony where we sat most nights admiring the view of the Jungfrau and hangliders do their tricks.The hotel was spotlessly clean, our buffet breakfast had a good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Interlaken.

Interlaken is an excellent centre to visit the Alps. The hotel was only a short walk from the town centre and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a quiet location and the dining room has a beautiful view of the Jungfrau region. Staff were very helpful. We had no evening meals at the hotel which were limited. We met a couple in this hotel who had been to Interlaken for the past 16 years. Hotel parking a big plus. No traffic noise, occasional train and church bells ! Beds had prop-up matresses - wonderful. Limited evening meal menu.
