Very friendly staff, wonderful location with a terrace overlooking the lake and the promenade just downstairs. Nice breakfast in a beautiful room. Being old-fashioned is obviously a part of the hotel's charm, but the room was a bit run down. |

We needed to change the room to a lake view room. The receptionist was very professional and not only changed the room but first accompanied us to the 2 rooms available. The service on the terrace as well as the breakfast is very good. We also enjoyed the view from the hotel room of the mountain and the lake. No |

Tranquil location with beautiful views from lake view balconys. Friendly hotel. Couldnot get free internet to work on my ipod or laptop. They said it was my laptop. Have not had trouble using it anywhere else. |

Lake view Double Rooms are big size with LCD TV . Interior is well maintained. Lake view rooms are having a nice balcony which offers stunning views of the swiss riveria , lake geneva and alps . Prefect place to feel montreux. Overall the hotel is very clean and is like a 3 star - 4 star hotel but without swimming pool. There was a small problem in the first room No. 248 alloted to me . The young lady at the reception was kind enough to allot me another room 148 . The shifting process took sometime but the younger generation staff was very receptive and efficient. There is no lock in the bathroom door. If you have a child ask for a room with king size bed . |

Location was excellent. Close to the city center yet right on the water's edge. Easy walk to shopping and food services, train station and boat docking facilities. Rooms were well appointed and had a great view of Lake Geneva. Parking was a slight problem. Train tracks were across the street from the entrance so we were glad to have read about the suggestion to book a room on the lake side of the hotel. |

The hotel is very well located overlooking the lake, perfect for relaxing time with excellent view; we would highly recommend a lakeside view for your stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the service was very good, and the staffs were helpful. |

Friendly accomodation with stunning views. Rooms with cityview may be overpriced. Enjoyed our stay. Too close to public traffic (like most places in Montreux.) a little noisy, but overall ok. |

The terrace overlooking the lake is glorious. My booking.com room rate was good. It's hard to remain objective when the weather and the view were so accommodating. More assistance with parking the car would have been nice, and i wish i had known about the pedestrian path along the water before heading into town the first time. |

Extrodinary hotel on Lake Geneva! I was so impressed with the vintage hotel, yet modernized to optimal levels of comfort. The lakeside view alone was worth more than I paid. Incredible staff, very friendly and helpful. Outstanding breakfast that came with the room, two nights stay and I can't wait to come back next year. I loved everything about the hotel and having been in 8 other hotels on this trip starting in Rome through Venice and than Switzerland, this one was tops. |

The view was fantastic and the location was excellent. The hotel is on the walking trail that follows the lake shore. Only issue was you could hear snoring through the walls. |

The room was excellent with lake views. Decent breakfast. Wifi worked well. No problem with railway noise. Friendly helpful staff. We are impressed with the railway systems - we had train trips to Rochers de Naye, Gstaad and Gruyere. Trains very punctual. Everywhere in Montreux is clean and cared for. A lovely part of the world. The floors are a bit creaky and there was someone in the room above ours who walked up and down the room in the early hours of the morning. Also a very minor point - no mini bar. |
