Location over the lake is great. Very Nice hotel, boutique, great location, impeccable, and well maintained. Montreaux is a much better option than Laussanne to stay. Very good breakfast.

Poor location. Poor access - hotel closed & locked two gates to bay promenade. Access to hotel only possible via very steep set of numerous (100+) flight of external steps, very diffcult and exhuasting climb expescially with luggage. Hotel room description "City View" is false and misleading. "City View" is actually a railway embankment approx 15 meters high and and 10 meters from the front of the hotel. Local regional trains run every 25/35 mins between 5:30 am and 12 midnight. Needless to say the noise is considerable. light sleepers should avoid these front of hotel rooms. No air conditiong so wahat with noisy location it is not poosible to open windows. This is a hotel "lost in time" in urgent need of modernistation

Beautiful older style hotel on the shoreline of Lake Geneva. Stunning views of promenade and lake including Chillon Castle across to snow capped mountains. Lovely small balconies on lake front rooms or a magnificent balcony with full service off the central reception area.

Very nice view and prompt service. Breakfast has good selection. Public parking was sufficient.

Maid didn't refil facial tissue, shower gel. Telephone has no signal. The problems were solved with good service.

The lake view rooms are super but the rooms with city view are a nightmare because the train is passing every 5 minutes and it is very noizy. Should be renamed to train view (10 meters from the trainrails)

The location next to the lake and proximity to the railway station, although at least 15 minutes by foot, but the upside is that you can go via a beautiful promenade. Once you check in the hotel they provide you with a Montreux Rivera Card for all local public transport. The bs stop is next to the hotel

I thought that the breakfast could have had a bit more variety.

Spectacular view from balcony,directly into the lake and the alp picks.Very comfortable & big beds,extremely elegant breakfast/dining room with classy decor & very polite & helpful staff at reception.

I would have loved a pool and sauna facility which would complement this four star hotel & would be perfect after a day in the mountains/slopes.I Would also prefer larger bath towels made of heavier cotton-a must for a hotel of this standard.,

The Hotel was luxurious, very well situated and the view from our bedroom was to die for.

There was nothing not to like :)

The room with balcon was very nice , view directly to the lack , room is clean ,located beside casino just 10 minutes waking .

There is no coffe maker in the room .

We booked a lake side room and the view was amazing! A little pricey but well worth it. The location of the hotel was great to, just out the door and you can walk the street that goes round the lake, towards the city/restaurants one way and the Chillon Castle the other. Size of the room and bathroom was really good and very clean. Breakfast was in a beautiful room and selection was great :)

The hotel restaurant was pretty expensive, so we didn't end up eating there, but plenty of other places available close by...

No tea/coffee facilities and the evening meal was far too expensive to contemplate.

Beautiful old hotel, well kept up

Staff was very unfriendly. Seemed as soon as they knew we were from usa they couldn't,t understand us nor wanted to help us. Prices for breakfast totally outrageous, for those who had to be charged separately, $33.00 for buffet.

The location by the lake is great.

The hotel seems to have been a great one in past time. Now it needs renovation.
