Proximity to city. Offer was for Eur89 per night. On check out manager decided to inform me that there was an error with the booking and it was Eur89 per person per night (despite booking.com confirming that the offer stands). Following this, he asked whether I would like to pay the double price. Who in their right mind would accept this?

Un accueil très chaleureux et très souriant, parlé dans plusieurs langues, excellent buffet petit-déjeûner. La situation géographique est très pratique (4min à pied de la gare et du lac et 10 min de la Piazza Grande. Bon point de départ pour Val Maggia et Val Verzasca.) Le matelas laisse à désirer.

Die gute Lage. Das Zentrum von Locarno ist in kurzer Gehdistanz. Das Hotel Gottardo ist ein Stadthotel und dies bringt es mit sich, dass sich in der Nähe Strassen befinden, die stark befahren sind. Wer sich daran nicht stört findet ein schönes kleines Budget-Hotel für den kurzen Städtetrip vor.

Sehr freundliche Begrüssung. Zimmer war recht klein und einfach eingerichtet, aber tiptop sauber und sogar mit kleinem Balkon. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden, aber kein Luxus. Auch Frühstücksbuffet war tiptop. Wenn man nicht das topmoderne Hotel sucht und familiäre Atmospähre mag, ist man hier richtig. Preis/Leistung stimmte. Gut gelegen, man erreicht das Zentrum von Locarno zu Fuss in fünf bis zehn Minuten.

Определенно лучший из 4-х швейцарских отелей в этой поездке! Прекрасный номер с двумя балконами, видом на город и озеро. Удобно расположен: минут 10 пешком до вокзала, 15 до озера. Приветливый и внимательный персонал. Разумная (по швейцарским меркам) цена. Хороший завтрак с выбором блюд. На первом этаже приятная остерия. Было бы неплохо иметь в номере сейф.

Très bon accueil, petit hôtel qui ne paie pas de mine, mais confortable et propre avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande cet hôtel plutôt pour les séjours courts.

Position idéale : près du centre de Locarno et de la gare- arrêt de bus vers Ascona devant l'hôtel = pas besoin de la voiture! Accueil extrêmement aimable - petit déjeûner copieux - j'y retournerai très volontiers

Freundliches, kompetentes Personal. Ansprechendes Frühstückbuffet. Lage:Stadtzentum, Bahnhof und Schiffstation gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in der Osteria. Das Parterrezimmer (leider haben wir gerade dieses erwischt) war sehr dunkel, abends sehr schlechte Lichtquellen. Dusche /wc sauber aber nur für schlanke Gäste geeignet, sehr klein und eng. Die Zimmer auf den andern Etagen sind hübsch und geräumiger, waren aber alle besetzt.

Das Hotel ist wirklich nett. Das Personal unglaublich lieb und zuvorkommend. Es hat alles was man braucht, keine luxusabsteige dafür ein gutes preisleistungsverhältnis. Frühstück war auch super lecker und den Welcome drink fand ich auch schön, das kriegt man nicht überall =) Das einzige was negativ war, war das Bett. Es war eine Federkernmatraze, leider viel zu weich somit konnte ich die Federn alle spüren. Habe dadurch nid so gut geschlafen.

Die freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung durch Direktion und Personnal. Das reichhaltige Früstücksbuffet und abendliche Apéro, die schöne Aussicht auf die Stadt und den Lago Maggiore aus unserem Zimmer im 5. Stock. Zu erwähnen ist der Gratis-Parkplatz, in Locarno nicht unbedingt die Regel. Im 5. Stock wäre ebenfalls eine Internetverbindung über Wireless wünschenswert.
