    The bed was wonderful with the most wonderful duvet and pillows, a real home from home. Cross between Babington house and soho house with Bamford products. Can't wait to go again for a bit longer.

    the staff were polite and tried their best to attend to you needs. the location was good. the breakfast was nice and fulfilling

    my bed was very uncomfortable. I had a double bed but yet received two single duvets, upon requesting several times to receive a double duvet the house management told me they did not have one and all double beds in the hotel come with single duvets which found very difficult to believe.

    From the warm welcome by the owner and manager Mr. Daniel to the rest of the staff who offer us all the assistant we need with a pleasant smile. The hotel atmosphere is very comfortable,cosy, and relaxing..we felt like home, it is really nice. I would like to thank them so much for the beautiful experience.

    Excellent staff in terms of support and hospitality. Great location with fantastic restaurant and spa facility. Rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. Definitely would like to stay there again.

    The owner management really gives the hotel personality and warmth. The gesture of being met outside by the owner/manager is special. The Spa is to be leveraged as it might be one of the best. The food and breakfast was fantastic. The Rooms comfortable and generous with all the spoils, late checkout etc. WE truly enjoyed!

    it was all just perfect. small electric busses might be good idea as is prevalent in Zermatt, to do the station commute in summer and ski lifts is winter. we have enjoyed the electric experience in Zermatt and might be work in Gstaad

    This is real 5 Star Hotel. We never expected that door man will receive us by our name. Hotel has a beautiful view, very high standard decoration and over all highly motivated staff. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. We have very nice stay even though god sun was not with us.

    I don't think we can say anything which we didn't like.

    The hotel was top notch, with a great staff. The restaurant was superb, the breakfasts were tremendous. The concierge staff was particularly excellent, very engaging.

    The hotel should stop the nickel dime attitude on "extras". They purport to provide a "free" minibar but there was very little in it. When I consumed the one bottle of still water and requested more, they charged $20 to bring tap water to my room. They are just too good for this type of mickey mouse behavior.

    The Hotel Owner and Manager asked us to evacuate our rooms and leave the Hotel for a VVIP guest of his (UPS I think). That Was very Rude ! Btw the Hotel owner has just bought the Hotel (2 or 3 years ago).

    The staff was always very nice and helpful. The hotel had a good athmosphere and we enjoyed every day. The petit Chalet was also very cosy. Thank you for a fanthastic week.

    The Spa is very nice and all facilities are brand new.

    The restaurant and reception service was not in line with the stars.. - We asked for vegetarian food and we were reassured it would be taken care of but it was not the case - they were bringing the menu courses while still eating - they asked us 5 times during the main course if we still wanted bread - but there was still plenty of bread on our table.. and we were always interrupted while in a middle of a conversation - while bringing the dishes they didn't really say what it was what we were supposed to eat - the hotel cuisine not the best one. E.g. The recipe ravioli with tartuffo contained so much gratinated cheese that one couldn't perceive any tartuffo at all. - at the reception we asked two times for un umbrella as it was raining. The girl said two times "sure no problem" but as no umbrella was brought to us and we were still standing there waiting she looked at us in a not very polite way and when we explained nicely that we were still waiting for the umbrella she sighed and brought it to us without no "sorry" "i beg your pardon". The hotel and restaurant has potential and the service will be key. More senior staff would probably be needed or properly trained juniors. If it had been a 2-3 star hotel we could have accepted the poor service, but as this is not the case, we're afraid we won't come here anymore in the future as Gstaadt has other 4-5 star hotels with better service and better hotel cuisine.

    Staying at the hotel in 2nd half of January secures the undivided attention of hotel staff. Rooms in the separate wing are spacious and very tastefully decorated. All facilities are absolutely 1st class and the same goes for the service levels provided by staff. The owner/GM goes to considerable lengths to secure painstaking attention to detail. We shall return!

    Can I blame the hotel for the mediocre snow quality on the pistes?

    Beautiful hotel, really top class with tasteful interior decorations - not the trendy mountain style of grey/oak, but refreshing colours.

    Gstaad itself is a bit dull, but maybe it was the season, end of january!?

    Great hotel for families. Very child friendly staff & comfortable rooms.

    The wifi in the room was not very stable & had to be re-requested every few hours.

    The excellent mix of modern and classic in the design of the completely renewed interior of the hotel is very impressive. Everything we need for a high quality relax vacation is available in the hotel. Eat, Sleep, Ski / Shop / Relax, Repeat! Great hospitality of the entire team! The people were friendly, the food was impressive and the glasses were never empty.

    There was not much snow yet, but the sun made everything right.

    Excellent service, beautiful accommodations in a lovely property. The best service I have received in all of Switzerland.

    Upon check in, learned the hotel was closing at 3 p.m. the next day for a few months period of time. This is news that I was not aware of when I made my reservation. As a result, we were unable to use the pool / spa facilities and the usual Sunday brunch was not served. Such hotel closings is typical in the mountain areas, and they re-open when ski season begins. But the guests should be made aware then making reservations.

    Luxury hotel in which you feel very well looked after. Convenient for station and village centre. Great pool and spa area
