This has been such a luxurious hotel in the old times, that sometimes You feel as if it has already seen its best days, because it is almost impossible to keep this level and survive in such a small village, a little off the main tourist routes. But they really try and the nostalgic feeling that You get there, has its own charm, too. Parking in front of the building could be a little nicer.
This is one of those old Grand Hotels, that were the embodiment of luxury a century ago. Some of them have decayed, some of them have been modernized. This one is something in between, but more towards the positive. Stylish room with full equipment, balcony, bathroom is kind of a cabin, that has been put into the room, so it is rather small, but OK. Good breakfast. Nice, spacious pool and sauna area downstairs with lockers, showers, floor heating and quite a big pool.
