Built in the late 19th century, the 5-star Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina offers panoramic views of the Bernina glaciers, a superb spa and attentive concierges. All of the elegantly furnished and luxuriously equipped rooms feature wired and wireless internet access. The Grand Restaurant (dress code: jacket or dark suit, tie), where also the half-board dinners are served, enchants with its exquisite Neo-Baroque style. The more informal Kronenstübli restaurant (dress code: business casual) currently holds 16 Gault Millau points. The Pavillon is an outside area that is open throughout the year. This was our 4th time at the Kronenhof and again wonderful. We felt like at home. The staff is very caring. The Spa is beautiful and the room perfect. A very good location for relaxing...

The visit at Kronenhof exceeded our expectations. When searching on internet you see nice small pictures that don't give the real feeling when you see the design old fashion, Swiss typical, with excellent hotel and restaurant service. Definitively this is one of the best places where you can spent you vacation.

In all aspects a five star superior hotel. Friendly staff and great service. Palace-like Grand Restaurant with a daily four courses menu for only 35 Swiss Francs, which is a great value for money. Newly built swimmingpool and wellness. A lot of facilities for kids (water playground in swimming pool, kids restaurant, kids club with games and toys). If you book two nights or more you'll get a free Engadin Card from the hotel with free access to all mountain railways and cable-ways in the Upper Engadin. The dress code in the Grand Restaurant for gentlemen is a dark suit. This is justly in the palace-like atmosphere. However, the hotel should maintain this dress code better.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Spa was fantastic after a day of skiing. Staff were welcoming, very helpful and unpretentious. Luxurious weekend getaway.

Everything was perfect from the first contact with the hotel to the last moment. Among other things, the best thing with this hotel is the guest relations by the hotel staff. When I called the hotel from the St. Moritz station, they came right away and picked us up. When I asked about the activities in St. Moritz they took time and arranged everything. It should be standard for five star hotels, but their attitude were quite natural, friendly and family-like. One of the best experience in my life. Only one thing they need to improve was that English web page was under construction. But upon arrival, you do not need web page. So it's ok.

Excellent staff: very friendly with remarkable attention to detail. Facilities are top notch: welness area with breathtaking views on the mountains. Beautiful lounge/dining areas. Beverages in the restaurant could be priced more moderately.

The Spa is superb it has beautiful views and excellent facilities. The staff were extremely efficient and attentive. Our room was in need of a refresh I would say. It was a 'comfort' room but some attention on these rooms would be good as we were slightly disappointed having certain expectations from a hotel of this quality. There were only 3/4 english channels available on the TV, BBC1,BBC2 and Sports/News which for a 5 star hotel was unexpected

Die Spa Anlage ist grossartig, die Behandlungen im Spa sehr proessionell. Die Küche ist hervorragend, die Speisen im Halbpensionsarrangement sind abwechslungsreich, jeweils mit alternativem Vitalmenue! Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eine Augenweide. Die Angestellten sind slle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist gross, renoviert und gut eingerichtet.

Das ursprüngliche, elegante und historische Ambiente des Hauses ist herausragend. Der Spabereich ist sehr schön. Wir bekamen eine kostenloses upgrade der Zimmerkategorie. Das Essen ist spitze, das Personal. Ganz speziell finde ich die Kinderfreundlichkeit ohne daraus ein Kinderhotel oder ähnliches zu machen. Wirklich sehr, sehr zu empfehlen Die Musik - im Spabereich die mystischen Klänge, das Piano in der Bar mit allzu üblicher Musik (Elton John z.B.) Es wäre einfach wünschenswert speziell der Musik eine größere Wichtigkeit speziell in so einem tollen Hotel zu geben.

Das Verhältnis Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut. Die Bedienung und die Aufmerksamkeit war auch sehr gut. Die Etagen-Angestellten haben mehrfach unnötig gestört.... Das war nicht so optimal.....

Der Kronenhof ist ein traditionelles Grandhotel und repräsentiert die Ansprüche von St. Moritz-Pontresina und das Engadin als Top of the world in allen Facetten. Es ist immer wieder ein hoher Genuss, dort zu residieren und rundum perfekt verwöhnt zu werden!

O hotel é muitíssimo bom, com destaque para o maravilhoso SPA, com uma piscina muito boa, várias saunas e tudo isso com neve na parte externa por todo o lado. Além disso tem um restaurante conceituadíssimo com uma comida magnífica. Obviamente o preço não é dos melhores, mas não está fora dos hotéis padrão 5 estrelas na região.

Ein sehr schönes, stillvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mitten in einer tollen Berglandschaft. Hervorragender Service durch alle Bereiche durch, konstant auf einem hohen Niveau. Sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, ein gemütlicher, gut durchdachter Spa-Bereich, leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen. Kurz gesagt: es war ein tolles Erlebnis von der ersten bis zu der letzten Minute!

Schönes Ambiente und sehr schöne Sicht auf das Rosegg-Tal und die Engadiner Berge und den Engadiner Himmel im historischen, renovierten Hotel. Eines der besten Frühstücksbuffets (und einen sehr guten und netten Service dazu), das wir je in einem 5 Sterne-Hotel genossen haben. Speziell ist auch das Ambiente im altehrwürdigen Grand Restaurant. Küche im Restaurant Kronenstübli war zwar nicht schlecht, entsprach aber unserer Meinung nach an diesem Spätsaison-Abend nicht ganz den 16 Gault Millau-Punkten, auch wenn der Service ausserordentlich freundlich und perfekt war.
