Right in front of the bar, you´ll find the panoramic terrace with its breathtaking view of the Matterhorn and over the roofs of Zermatt. Lunch is served from our small card.
In our dinning room, breakfast and the 5 course half board dinner is served. Outstanding cuisine for Gourmets!.
In our Gourmetstübli, gourmets will find culinary highlights combined with wines from all over the world: the crus classes one side - local producers on the other..
Be inspired by some creations from our chefs.
Opening times of the Gourmetstübli:
Daily in the evening, except Wednesdays
Winter: from Christmas until Easter
Summer: early July until mid September
The Gastronomy on the ski runs is unique world wide. On one side you will find classic dishes like veal sausage and Rösti, on the other side restaurants like the Findlerhof serve 'Gault Millau' awarded cuisine.
All ski passes can be purchased of the front desk at Grandhotel Schönegg at the official rates.. Discover Zermatt's International ski area with a qualified ski instructor of the Ski- and Snowboard School Zermatt.

We booked this hotel as we wanted a view of the Matterhorn from our balcony and we got one! It was gorgeous. Our room was perfect in everyway and very comfortable. |

The stunning view of the Matterhorn and the village of Zermatt from our room was incredible and one we will never forget. It was so romantic even in the summer!. The hotel itself was cosy, friendly and a welcome retreat after hiking and sight seeing up the mountains. The entrance via an underground tunnel and lift was a novelty and like something from a James Bond film. Overall, a very pleasant 4 day stay with excellent views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt. The price on Booking.com was very competative at the time of booking approximatley 6 months ago A tea and coffee machine in the room would be welcome after a long day outdoors. |

Insufficient breakfast food especially when large tour groups descend on breakfast buffet all at once . Food is not replenished.Lackof cleanliness at breakfast buffet when guest use hands to take food. Would not reccomend this hotel for this reason. |

The view from the window was just superb (should choose Matterhorn view rooms!). Pick-up service from the station was very nice although conveniently located. |

Very nice room, large and comfortable.Hotel is in a very nice location,10 minutes walk from the train station, and with a nice view to the town of zermatt and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was a bit poor. |

The food and staff were excellent. The location was idyllic and afforded spectacular views over the town and towards the Matterhorn. It was exceedingly convenient for access to both the Gornergrat Bahn and Sunnega Funicular, allowing the ski day to start with ease. The ability to ski to the front door of the hotel at the end of the day was also most welcome. |

Zermatt is great location for ski. The hotel was well located between Sunega and Gornegrat train, very good wellness area, very polite and helpfull staff. The dinner was interesting and very well presented. |

ホテルにあるエレベーターのおかげで、街中までのアクセスが楽だった。 マッターホルンビューの部屋を予約したが、通された部屋は半地下にある部屋（104号室）で、土手とさらに- 木が邪魔して、マッターホルンがほとんど隠れてしまっていた。しかも、リネン室の横を通って部屋に行くよう- になっているため、客として扱ってもらってない印象も受けた。マッターホルンビューとして高め値段をとるの- は納得できない。 |
