Amazing Staff, great location, great services. Good pool.

Although some rooms were refurbished, our room only had 2 power plugs available (no extensions available at the reception) and an old blow dryer.

The Hotel represents a well preserved historical marvel of Zermatt. We really enjoyed out stay there, including the setup of the room the spa facilities and a delicious breakfast. We would like to specially mention all reception staff and in particular Annie, who was extremely cheerful and helpful.

It's difficult to find something we did not like, maybe the room was too hot, especially at night.

One difficult incident over a booking we had made in the main restaurant for the Easter buffet - due to a miscommunication between the Concierge and the restaurant - but after the initial difficulty, it was graciously sorted out

The hotel is right next to the church with bells that goes on from 630- 730 in the morning so it's not possible to sleep in.

Fabulous stay. Wonderful service, clean and stylish facilities, state of the art spa with sauna, steam, pool, jacuzzi, and ice room. Staying here is like being a in a wonderful fantasy. I was treated like a king the entire stay and felt sad to leave. Everything was better than my highest expectations. Fresh fruit renewed daily, greeted by name every time I entered the lobby, and large selection buffet breakfast.

the staff was wonderful. we were pleased with the shuttle between the train station & hotel. the breakfast was very good.

our room was overheated. although it was very cold outside, the temperature in the room was too much to get a good sleep.

small room for US standards and price. However, you are paying for the other luxuries.

The location is great. Rooms are comfortable. The hotel has big warm swimming pool with wellness center. Cigar friendly bar.

Not enough staff. This is the main problem in this hotel. Poor breakfeast buffet(cheap charlie buffet). Ugly smoking bar, with blue deco, just horrible, seats are not comfortable. Wellness is not open in the morning.

Beautiful wood paneling in our room and lovely balcony overlooking the Matterhorn. Excellent breakfast.

Our room wasn't ready until nearly three in the afternoon, however we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine on the terrace while waiting.

Service was wonderful. Staff were extremely attentive. The room was just beautiful, overlooking the main street with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. Especially enjoyed being transported from the train station to the hotel by horse and carriage. Felt very special. The buffet breakfast was exceptional.

We like everything about this hotel with superb friendly staffs, warm, polite and helpful to the guests. They are very well trained and skilled for the hospitality industry. We felt very warm welcomed and they equipped us with anything you need during your stay. The hotel is very very clean, classy with luxury..... And with best service practice, worth value for money, though the price is somewhat high. Facilities are complete in the room including bottles of drinking water and coffee machine plus fruits. They made us feel like in our home in fact we were far far away from our country home. Breakfast are tremendous and very well organized. The view out of the window towards to Matterhorn mountain! Whatever we requested during the booking they tried to do their best to fulfill. If we happenned to be in Zermatt we would stay in this hotel definitely and with no hesitantly to recommend this to all visitors.

Very noisy outside at night, proximity to church bell tower with bells beginning at 7am on Sunday morning made sleep difficult. Needs double glazing.

A five star hotel in a five star town..absolutely a good experiance. Even do the coffey take seven minutes to bring to the table in breakfast, no big problemes...personal is very nice if you are...as always. Therefor it could be problems for the newrich..:) its always nice here, if you get balcony its of course a big plus. The SPA you can not miss all of different sauna and ICE-Room and Rest Room. If you are from China and US you could be suprice by the rules NO Textiles in sauna area:) over all its a very nice stay and all facilities are really good. CQ

The hotel's staff was very attentive, great service for a wonderful experience, we look forward to visit again.

The mattress on the bed was old and pulled you to the middle of the bed.
