Grand Hotel Eden  

Actually, there are too many execellent things in the Grand hotel specially it location and good deal with guests

as indicated above

old fashioned, shower fitted very low, dangeraous elevators (especially for children)

The excellent service

People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Soraya who gave us great ideas on how to spend time in Lugano.

Nice and very clean hotel with a touch of luxury - the restaurant on the deck over the lake is great and the food is also good. The concierge is very knowledable and was most helpful.

The Breakfast was not up to a two star hotel - terribly boring - the buffet layout was unattractive, the food which was to be eaten hot, I.E. scrambled eggs and sausages, were cold and the selection of fruits, as well as bread and cheese, was insufficiant and it was repetition every day! The staff on duty for breakfast were totally minimalistic in their service! There was nothing "home made" ....... the jams, the yoghurt.... Everything was commercially packaged. The faded plastic flowers on the tables looked like they had been there for ages. On the other hand, the meals served in the restaurants were good and the staff efficient.

The location of the hotel is excellent on the lake side and the lake view room was marvellous, the room is spacious and luxurious also the bathroom

Breakfast need to improve

/the very friendly staff at the front desk and concierge. However when the concierge was not present there was little opportunity to get good information.

The main dinning room. The menu was not up to par for an hotel of this category and after eating there once the menu, (not the service, which was excellent) did not entice you back to the dinning room.

Very nice hotel and the staff very helpful

I was very fortunate to have my room upgraded. We had a large terrace right on the lake and it was perfect. The hotel facilities were brilliant. After a long hike up Monte Generoso, it was so nice being able to come back to the hotel and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was superb, sitting on the terrace outside the breakfast room on a sunny morning enjoying the view. Best hotel I have stayed in.

لم يعجبني فيه اي شي ولقد انصدمت به بسبب حصوله على تقييم عالي في الانترنت ولقد كان من المفترظ ان اقيم فيه لمدة اسبوع ولكن خرجت منه اليوم التالي مباشرة فندق بختصار جدا جدا جدا سيء وغير مريح ومببالغ في سعرة جدا

Die Lage mit direktem Zugang zum See, die traumhaft schöne Aussicht vom "Deluxe Zimmer mit Seeblick".

Das Licht auf der Terrasse brennt die ganze Nacht über, man kann nicht mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Fitness und Saunabereich sehr klein und die Öffnungszeiten viel zu kurz.
