Lovely remade rooms, stunning view from the restaurant during breakfast, right on the riverside, conveniently located to discover the town. Staid one night on the way to Italy decor of the restaurant is outdated, only rooms were renovated

Friendly staff and nice location. Room rates are very high to the design of the hotel. Shower was not comfortable. No variety breakfast comparing to the room price.

/the very friendly staff at the front desk and concierge. However when the concierge was not present there was little opportunity to get good information. The main dinning room. The menu was not up to par for an hotel of this category and after eating there once the menu, (not the service, which was excellent) did not entice you back to the dinning room.

The location was fabulous facing the lake. The room furniture was old and not elegant for 5 star hotel. Also the bed mattress are old and not comfortable must change it asap..

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful with all queries. The spa/relax area was also very good with an excellent beautician who was obviously an expert in her field. Just one criticism really. I was surprised such a lovely hotel had put such bad 'had it's day' plastic furniture on the balcony. I'm not against plastic furniture but these (and those of a neighbouring balcony I noticed) looked so worn and scratched with a dirty grey look (white was the original colour) they should have actually been thrown out and replaced.

Nice and very clean hotel with a touch of luxury - the restaurant on the deck over the lake is great and the food is also good. The concierge is very knowledable and was most helpful. The Breakfast was not up to a two star hotel - terribly boring - the buffet layout was unattractive, the food which was to be eaten hot, I.E. scrambled eggs and sausages, were cold and the selection of fruits, as well as bread and cheese, was insufficiant and it was repetition every day! The staff on duty for breakfast were totally minimalistic in their service! There was nothing "home made" ....... the jams, the yoghurt.... Everything was commercially packaged. The faded plastic flowers on the tables looked like they had been there for ages. On the other hand, the meals served in the restaurants were good and the staff efficient.

Fairly convenient as travelling UK - Italy. Very pleasant lakeside setting Hotel and room seen better days. Many things didn't work, internet (twice) plug sockets, TV difficult. Very noisy as balcony door didn't close properly. Quality of breakfast was poor

the view very poor service : no shuttle for the station, the alarm oclock service did not work, the cleaning girl knock at our door at 8:30 AM in the morning on sunday.. definetely not a 5 star service, and the quality of the room is not high quality neither. (bathroom door painting) the wifi was supposed to be free but it's not the case.

Very good location facing Lugano lake ,clean nice rooms ,no coffe maker in the rooms which is not usual in 5 stars hotel , all the staff in the reception ,conceirge and others in the resturant were very helpful and so cooprative , The only negative point that the rate of the the rooms is high but this is Switzerland

Very nice and helpful staff inside a real 5-star hotel with all the amenities and facilities. And, of course - breakfast. 1. A bit expensive. 2. Sometimes, the rooms might be a bit noisy.
