Nice hotel

Room has a bad smell, no good resturants near.

It was in a great location, easy walk from train station and had a lovely view over the lake

The staff was very efficient and extremely friendly, so were the attentions towards the Client. Adequate room with splendid view over the lake. The breakfast was excellent with a big choice.

The mattress was absolutely used and not what you expect in a 5 star Hotel.

the location and amenities are truly exceptional, the spa facilities and lake side access make this a very enjoyable location for travellers

The room central eating system was to intensive it gave us the impression the room was in the 40c irrespective of the device regulation device showing 20c

The friendliness and immediate service at the reception. The Sauna area, the breakfast, The entrance is very warm and welcoming as well as the porter who takes care of the car. I will surely come again.

The initial scent of the room when openning the door to the room was really musky. Perhaps the carpet should be changed.

Elevators on lake side building were outdated and confusing to use. Could have been cleaner, too.

My bed was broken and the hotel looked very old and classic.

Nothing only the view exactly infront of the lake.

The rooms are very old fashion they need to renovate them. The balcony is full of spiders and spider webs , my sister found a spider in the bathroom while she was showering. No internet in the room. The lifts are very old you feel its gonna fall. Overpriced comparing to the poor facilities , or should I say NO facilities. I dont recommend at all.

Excellent location; only hotel besides the lake; and very nice views with a room in the lake front. The pontoon is so nice to take sun, swim in the lake, and take some snacks and drinks.

Although rooms' size and cleaness is right, certainly needs some refurbishment to be aligned with the excellent location and services.

The location is great. The rooms are spacious, view is magnificent. Make sure you get the lake view room, otherwise it is not worth it. You can take a swim in the lake early in the morning before navigation starts.

The hotel is very well situated. Our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast can also be enjoyed outside on a terrace overlooking the lake. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.

No wi fi at the room

Fabulous location if you get a lake-view room. The kids loved the novelty of diving into Lago Lugano from the pontoon in front of the hotel and enjoyed the spa shortly afterwards. Saul, the concierge, was excellent and sorted out a boat trip at last minute (not cheap but stunning and a must-do). Hotel was dog friendly and there is a huge promenade close to the hotel where the dogs can do their business! Rooms were spotless.

The town of Lugano looks like it has seen better days and this is partly reflected in some of the hotel decor and fittings....a bit tired in some cases. The pontoon also features the restaurant where the backdrop is beautiful but the food is very average.
