The lake view was beautiful. Rooms need to be updated. Carpet was stained. Wallpaper in fair condition. My telephone did not work for my entire stay even though I told them that it was not working. |

Fantastic view of Lake Geneva from most, if not all rooms; excellent indoor swimming pool and fitness facilities; Lack of complimentary WiFi (even though the wired Internet access was free); breakfast buffet was very limited for the what it cost; the decor of the guest rooms - and especially the bathrooms - is a little tatty and needs modernising to compete with local hotels of the same class; |

This Hotel is a lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting on the Avenue of Flowers. As i was quite ill, I needed a doctor and one was provided for me in very short time. I was very impressed with the attention I received, and although I mostly saw only the inside of the room, and the dining room, due to my illness, I loved my stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior. The room great, & the view spectacular. All was teriffic. |

The breakfast buffet was excellent, the nursing service were very good when my wife got cold, the location is very good but not the best limited parking space which caused me couple of expensive violations when I used other parking lanes, appx $40 each |

Fantastic view and nice swimming pool, nice service Needs a complete overhaul, alot of money needs to be spent to have it to the standard of a four star hotel. It is day it would have been top end hotel. But that was in the 70'S. It has potential! Spend some money on the building |
