Grindelwalderhof  

Grindelwalderhof was an excellent choice for my families ski holiday in the Swiss alps. The small hotel had charming Swiss decor , and a friendly accommodating staff. Breakfast was Swiss style and a great start to each day. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only downside to the hotel was that there was no main lobby to congregate and the sauna facilities were limited. The location was excellent, bus stop right outside the door. 5 minute walk to the left was the First Bahn lift and 5 minute walk to the right was the main train station to all other ski areas. Scenery of the Eiger and others was uninstructed from our balcony. We had exceptionally excellent snow conditions. 2 meters of snowfall during our stay and all the glacier powder runs we could handle. We Would recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grindelwalderhof so much that when we go back this summer to do some hiking we will stay there again. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is so clean and comfortable.

What a superb apartment! It was spotlessly clean and absolutely gorgeous. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is great and the apartment is very spacious. You will not believe the view from the balcony! Stunning mountain views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrou. We had to pinch ourselves. Breakfast is a lovely array of breads, rolls, pastries, cereals, eggs, bacon, cold meats and fruit salad.

Could not fault these wonderful apartments.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The location, confort and facility provided in the room was value for money.

It would be good if wifi was included or one price for all devices.

Very Clean and comfortable. Amazing mountains view. Friendly staff. Jacuzzi. Kitchen. Not far from train station. Not far from sport center. Mini golf below hotel.

Too expensive. Reception not always populated (empty at nights). Guest card (discount for sport center) supplied only by request. Small and expensive parking garage. No TV in badroom. DVD with no movies.

Spectacular views of the mountains. Close to train station. Bus right in front of hotel. Close to Restaurants and Coffee shops.

Breakfast was poor on the second morning - no bacon or eggs just after 08h00. Staff was not as friendly as the first day. There was no American international plug to recharge batteries of our camera. In Zurich there was a multi national plug in the room, which was very convenient, as the traveler don't need to bring along all kinds of adaptors.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very accomodating to our schedule (allowing us to come down to breakfast early). We would definitley recommend this hotel to others.

Отличное месторасположение. До подъемника на Фирст 2 минуты пешком, до станции на Кляйн - 4-5 минут пешком. Из окон фантастический вид. Рядом несколько ресторанов, 1-2 минуты пешком. Окна выходили на улицу - но абсолютно тихо вечером и ночью. Вполне хороший завтрак.

4-х местный номер - это одна большая (но чистая и комфортабельная) комната. При бронировании данный факт я не увидел.
