Everything is pretty nice. Mini-bar and wifi are both free. Staff nice and helpful.

Price. But it is true that all the hotels in Lugano are rather expensive.

Without exception, all the staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Well appointed room with nice balcony overlooking lake. Good food in the rustic restaurant. Only 5 minute walk from lakeside and handy for funicular to top of San Salvatore with magnificent views.

Rather expensive (but this is Switzerland!). Pool area doesn't open until June even though weather was very pleasant when we visited in mid- May. Shower temperature fluctuated wildly from scalding hot to cool. A bit of a walk to town centre. Surrounding area is business area with not many restaurants.

The staff accomdated my wife's birthday by upgrading us to a balcony, lake facing room and serving a champagne breakfast on the balcony complete with flowers for only a modest extra charge. The staff visibly shared in the fun of preparing this surprise which made our celebration all the more special. A big thanks to the DLP team for making this extra very personal effort on such a busy holiday weekend.

Overall, DLP came across primarily as a higher end, efficient business hotel, which is certainly appropriate for such travelers and tour groups. To us it felt just a tad sterile on Mother's Day weekend.

The staff was very friendly.

The room smelled moldy as if there had been water damage. The onsite restaurant's menu was very limited and I would only rate the food a 3 on a scale of 5. Not a good value for the money. Very dated hotel.

The all stuff was friendly and very helpful. Especially Lorena Corias. Room had some lake view, breakfast is ok, not too much fresh fruits,probably because too expensive.Location is good,but when you look at picture at seems hotel located next to the lake, but it is not.Very good impression, especially all the stuff. ..........-. .`

My room does not have a mirror, not very convenient,especially if your husband using bathroom, and you need a mirror for last glance.

It was different because it was old fashioned but I liked its individuality. It was quietly efficient. The shower and the air conditioning were easy to operate and so was the television and the card key operated first time. Breakfast was in a room overlooking the garden and could be taken in the garden.

My room overlooked a noisy street - but because of the air conditioning I didn't need to open the windows. More varieties of bread would have been appreciated at breakfast.

The hotel was comfortable and had a good breakfast

The rooms were small for the price. The hotel restaurant was incredibly expensive.

My wife and I like most the breakfast out by the swimming pool. Lovely setting and a great buffet breakfast. Lots of space so it is also a nice area to relax and as a smoker it is lovely to be able to sit outside and have a smoke and a drink. The Baritolo is great for pizza. Great location and easy to get around. Room is very clean. I think it is newly renovated.

Since wi-fi is free at the hallway and the piano bar, it is a pity it is not available by the pool where we spend a lot of time. Also, wi-fi not free in the room.

Small swimming pool was very refreshing and we had a great time. Parking was free. Bathroom was big and clean.

Old man who works at reception was very unfriendly, breakfast was nothing special. Birchen Müsli was uneatable. We will not book this hotel again.

Too expencive, and Little rooms! Very disappointet.... We Paid over 500 sfr. For a room Not bigger than a closet. Never again. We ware Not Impressed about the breakfast, Fruits are Not fresh. For this Price i exspectet much more.

Ventilation in the bathroom did not work. Outflow from the basin had obstruct.
