Hôtel Masson  

Very traditional hotel, excellent location just outside Montreux on bus route - bus every 10 minutes. Very friendly staff, decor like stepping back in time, a historic hotel, run by the same family for years. They care about your stay and make you very welcome.

TV could be better, a bit small and high up but then you haven't come away to watch TV.

Hotel Masson is an old world chateua delightfully restored & converted into a hotel / bed & breakfast. Very pleasant stay & friendly & helpful staff.

Simply amazing! The staff, the atmosphere, the location and the feeling given from the magic atmosphere of all the old fornitures. We also had a lot and intensive dreams sleeping there! Really suggested for a romantic weekend ;)

Great location near Chateau de Chillon. Nice surroundings and atmosphere. Good breakfast and free Internet.

The bed mattresses were not very good.

Fantastic! Lovely quiet location with garden, good restaurant (including fixed-plate dinner and homemade jams on breakfast buffet), beautiful historic building. Dog friendly.

the atmosphere and the decore are exellent. the meals are delicious. we enjoyed our stay, the only thing that wasn't perfect was the internet for the laptop, that was a little weak.

Historic hotel with good interier decorations, a pretty garden and clean conditions.

A lack of the internet access, hilly location, not so good view for the lake, old and weak bed, too small TV, old lock system, small bathtub, and long distance from Montreux downtown. Definitely not a place for young or hard working people.

It was withing walking distance to the Chillon Castle, and was right across the street from the bus stop to get into town. It was a charming historic hotel.

The hotel is quite old, so there were some issues of convenience. We had to haul all of our large bags (we were in Europe for 3 weeks) up 3 flights of stairs because there was no elevator. Also, even though they advertised free wi-fi in the hotel, it was not working while we were there. Finally, we understand that it is a historic hotel, but the steps are so creaky and loud that it was disrupting to everyone in the hotel whenever someone walked through. It was also extremely expensive for what you received.

Hotel is old but nice, friendly owner, nice breakfast.

Shower was not useable without drowning the bathroom floor.

We stayed in Hotel Mason for two nights and three days. This is a fantastic Hotel very old and well kept. The manager is a very nice lady indeed. The staff made our stay very enjoyable. I would and will recomend this Hotel to all my friends. We really enjoyed our stay well done. The view from the balkony was breathtaking.

The authenticity impressed me the most. Very nice and unpretentious hotel and staff. One feels welcome and comfortable. Excellent food and good wines at a reasonable price. I would go back anytime.
