Very good location in the centre of Montreux. The outside of the hotel looks good and is inviting. Certainly a hotel of past glory. We stayed in room 241. Our room was very scruffy and very "tired". They could be dating from the 1970's. Very basic comfort and outdated bathroom and sanitary installations. The big problem however was the very poor quality of the bed. Not a proper double bed (too narrow) and the next morning my wife and I woke up at least 10 years older. A disgrace ! |

The hotel was perfectly positioned to enjoy the jazz festival. There were many good places to eat and drink nearby and the free jazz festival bus went straight past the door. We really enjoyed being able to use the free internet. |

Located about 1/2 mile from middle of town so it's not so crazy during jazzfest. Great breakfast food. Really helpful staff on all shifts. Nice roomy dining room and decks. Very charming place. Reasonable rates for Montreux. Terrible beds - they must be 30 years old! No fan in the room and it was very stuffy. We had to leave windows open all night just to breathe during the heat wave. |

Excellent location, lovely and warm, very helpful staff. Be prepared for a stay in a hotel that hasn't been substantially changed for 100 years, it's quaint though, and not too expensive.We had a good time. They never did get round to telling us about their facilities, so we only discovered the bar two days from the end of our stay, and I did spot the internet room on our last day. |

Big room, confortable beds, the cleaness of the rooms. Also the location of the hotel. There were only bath in the bathroom, and it was very high, very unconfortable, especialy for older people. I hurt myself when I was stepping into it, and I am a young girl. They should build a small stair to get into the bath. |

Le charme suranne d-un etablissement d-une autre epoque, le mobilier, le vieux parquet, l-ascenseur... Il faudrait eviter que les chambres fumeurs soient a cote de celles non/fumeurs...la nuit c-est terrible parce que la fumee entre dans les chambres non fumeurs. |

Frühstück war um 7 Uhr möglich, aber effektiv nicht fertiggestellt. Eine einzige Platte mit wenig Fleisch. Ein Eierberg, die Eier aber eiskalt? Joghurt nur in 125gr-Packung gesüsst statt nature und Konfitüre z.Mischen.Betten miserabel (Matratzen uralt). Brauseaufhängung Basewanne abgebrochen, Schlauch war herumgewickelt um Hahnen.Preis total überrissen.250.-/Nacht für 2 Personen. Zum Lachen! |

La posizione Se questo è un hotel a 4 stelle io sono Napoleone Bonaparte. Non ho mai pagato così tanto per un albergo di così basso livello. Parcheggio prenotato ma non disponibile. Camera con i mobili di Barbie. Il giardino è un terrazzo con aiuole non curate ed è sovrelevato rispetto alle camere del 1 piano. Prima colazione scarsa e di poca qualità. 2 stelle sarebbero più che sufficienti. |
