The lady on the reception was very nice. The thing that pissed me off was that i could not set the shower-tap in the middle position to get warm water..either was cold or too hot, as the tap lever was broken. This is a reason why i am not satisfied as such basic service could not been properly deliverd to the guest. Pay attention : room 305

Close to the railway station and main tram stop. I requested a non-smoking room but was allocated a smoking room which was almost over-poweringly smokey. For a hotel with such a high price tag it was surprising that there was a charge for using the internet facility which, for an equivalent hotel in the US, would be free.

Good access to the hotel from the main routes. An experience consistent with that you'd expect from a Hilton. Good rooms, good breakfast, secure on site parking etc. Good access to City centre via trams which leave the tram station 2 minutes from the hotel. The staff were very helpful.. Very expensive - and not great value for money accordingly - This hotel would be better value if it were 50% less - Beware the mini bar - It tried to charge us 71 CHF for putting a bottle of water in ! I had booked what I thought was a twin room (in 2 rooms) but what I got was a small twin - so we had to book another ...

Localisation is very convinient. Plus free transport pass from hotel is nice treat . Friendly staff and clean and comfy rooms . A bit too pricey starting with internet and breakfast ending by the parking and room itself.

Super location, a few steps from the main trainstation, where all the trams stops, #8 and #11 goes downtown every 5 min, you get a free ticket as you check-in, it is valid as long as you stay at the hotel,super idea. Very nice room, very helpfull staff,breakfast buffet with everything, good coffee. If you have a car, you park right under the hotel, a bit expensive, but convinient. Nothing negative, will stay there again.

Generell garantieren die Hilton Hotels einen guten Standard, d.h. man kann ungesehen ein Hilton buchen. Da ich Basel sehr gut kenne und mit dem Auto anreise, spielt für mich die Lage des Hotels (Parkiermöglichkeit, Nähe zum Tram) eine grosse Rolle. Hilton Basel ist sehr geeignet für einen Kurzaufenthalt (Übernachtung, Business) Mein Zimmer war o.k., der erwartete Komfort vorhanden. dass man das Hotel mit CreditCard bereits im Voraus bezahlen muss anstatt beim Auschecken. dass man mir das Zimmer - aus Versehen - doppelt belastet hat; wurde inszwischen aber rückerstattet.

Très bon service et personnel agréable. Nous avons pris le buffet de réveillon de nouvel an à l'hôtel. Deux entrées étaient servies à table. La cuisine était de circonstance (foie gras, saumon mariné, fumé, ...) et excellente (le homard était juste un peu fade) et le buffet était bien garni jusqu'à la fin du service. La chambre était veillissante mais propre et fonctionnelle.

La jeune femme à la réception qui avait travaillé au Hilton à Luxembourg On nous a donné un voucher pour 20% de rabais si on allait prendre le buffet du soir au restaurant - sauf que là on ne nous a pas présenté le menu "buffet" mais on nous a donné le menu à la carte. Et bien sûr pas de 20% au moment de payer ! Ce n'est pas correct ! Ils devraient vous donner la carte buffet (il y a plusieurs formules) et vous dire qu'il y a aussi la possibilité de manger à la carte sans 20% !
