Very clean, very friendly, homely, central. Bed felt a bit worn and springy - I might have just had the only dodgy mattress though. Everything else was great.

My husband I travellend to Rapperswil to compete in the 26.4K marathon swim to Zurich on the lake. The hotel and staff were excellent and prepared an early breakfast at 5.00a.m. so that we could eat before our race!! The rooms were lovely and the location was excellent. We plan to come back and swim again, and will certainly stay at the Hotel Hirschen again. I cannot recommend it highly enough!!

Outstanding hotel in a beautiful lakeside setting. Located amongst plenty of restaurants and bars. Great rooms overlooking Fishmarktplatz and out over the lake.Friendly reception. You must have the paid parking if you are driving.

The room was spacious, light and comfortable with view of the lake. Breakfast also good and hosts helpful and pleasant. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for occasional hot drinks.

Zimmer 43 - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis entspricht dem eines vier-Sterne-Hauses, hier liegt aber nur eine drei-Sterne-Ausweisung vor... Frühstück war maximal mit einem Stern zu bewerten, viel zu kleiner Frühstücksraum - quasi Zimmergröße - , Speisenauswahl dürftig, teilweise reichlich abgegessen mitten in der vorgesehenen Frühstückszeit

Mit der Reduktion, attraktiver Preis für CHF 160.00 Leider befand sich der Wellness Bereich nicht im Hause. Dies war für mich im Hotelbeschrieb nicht ersichtlich.

Lage, freundliche Bedienung, Zmorge. Mit Lage meine ich die Lage am See, aber auch die Lage von Rapperswil-Jona als Zentrum für Ausflüge, in unserem Fall zu Fuss (Bachtel, Etzel, Pfannenstiel, Walensee).

Sehr zentrale Lage und direkt am See und an der Seepromenade. Das hat allerdings zur Folge, dass es bei schönem Wetter abends etwas lauter ist. Wer gerne bei offenem Fenster schläft und geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte kein Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen. Familiäre Atmosphäre, die den Gast umsorgt. Bei der Schlussabrechnung sollte man in Landeswährung zahlen, da die Bank auch bei Zahlung in Euro trotzdem in Schweizer Franken zurückrechnet. Das bedeutet doppelte Gebühren und einen ungünstigen Umrechnungskurs.

Ausgezeichnete Lage. Günstig Parken im abgeschlossenen Sektor des unmittelbar beim Hotel gelegenen Parkhauses. Sehr schönes, geräumiges Zimmer im Dachstock mit Himmelbett
