Distance to the lake. Leke side is beautiful. Internet, they sell high speed internet connection but it was very slow and almost impossible to use. Plus was very expensive. |

The hotel was good, great breakfast, room was big enough, the reception staff was very helpful to show us directions and where to go around. The major problem is the garage, it is too small and crowded, with bigger car you can't maneuver easily inside, and it is overpriced considering that the hotel is not in the center and you can find free parking in the streets around, also the hotel is not so close to Lugano center, you need to walk for 15 mins at least and at late night it is long way to go back. |

Nichts vieles No comfort (E.G. no soap, and just 1 towel for 2 adults), ok but first time in a 4* hotel. No design, no Charm in the room and in the stairs. Old and cold environment. And why to ask extra 3 chf for a crepe when the rate is 400 for a room, lose the charm of luxury. Nevertheless Big Room |

The most reasonable price for a supposedly 4 star hotel........ UNFORTUNATELY...this hotel is highly overated!!!! How can a 4 star hotel not even have a kettle for boiling water!!! In addition, the website states in a family room there was 1 room with 2 single beds and another with a double bed...but when we arrived it was actually different from what was shown on website. When questioned, the receptionist said I had to specify at time of booking!!!! Booking. |

The hotel calls itself a 4 star, which is absolutely scandalous! It's definitely not more than a 2 star. Prices are far too expensive. No kettle and tea making facilities in our room and no safe, as was mentioned on the website. Staff unfriendly, definitely not trained in the hotel industry. The hotel's own private parking is paying, it should not be. |

This hotel seems to a cheap motel, not hotel. I couldn't understand why this hotel is a four star hotel. I yhink it is one star hotel. The room is quite small and the furniture was too cheap. The breakfast is too simple. They even charge for cheap coffee. There are too many things which make the quest unhappy. The most difficult part was a sickening smell!!! |

The stay was plesent and fun. As the hotel is only 50 m from the lake and most of the sites. It however requires the clients to have a car.... Their parking is not the best. The site did not tell us that the out door pool was closed till july. The resturent was not the best. |

I liked the kindness of the reception staff and the position of the hotel, close to the lake. The temperature in the room was way too high during the night, and it was difficult to set it to a more comfortable one. Also, the hotel should offer a parking lot or a garage for free to guests!! |

I didn't enjoy the stay in Lugano in general. the conversion of the rates. The hotel converted the the euro/swiss franc at a very low price-much. We ended up paying a lot more than the site said. In general that the idea during our whole stay in Lugano. If I went back to Lugano I would just pass through. I would never stay there more than a few hours. That is the impression all of my friends had. |

comfort, security in knowing what to expect of a Holiday Inn all the extra fees (e.g. internet) although I guess it maybe helps keep cost down for those who don't want them |
