I didn't enjoy the stay in Lugano in general. the conversion of the rates. The hotel converted the the euro/swiss franc at a very low price-much. We ended up paying a lot more than the site said. In general that the idea during our whole stay in Lugano. If I went back to Lugano I would just pass through. I would never stay there more than a few hours. That is the impression all of my friends had. |

comfort, security in knowing what to expect of a Holiday Inn all the extra fees (e.g. internet) although I guess it maybe helps keep cost down for those who don't want them |

Very well situated The parkin is really small and if you come back too late at your hotel no more space. So you have to park outside. And the breakfst room was full, no space, we had to wait for 20 minutes, and there was no food on the buffet table. |

Was a little bit far for train travellers but was still a very nice walk if you keep to the lake front. Overall though I would shoot for Hotel Walter Au Lac if it has availability. |

friendly staff, very helpful; short drive to and from airport; convience of garage: great breakfast buffet; enjoyed 20 min walk to Lugano center; in our opinion the bed was the most comfortable during our two week stay in Europe. The room was quiet as long as you kept the windows closed. |

The bed was very comfortable 1) The photo on booking.com showed we had a room with a view over lake Lugano but in reality there was no view from any room in the hotel as it was so far back from the lake (2) Photos were shown of an extensive & varied breakfast buffet but in reality it was very limited and very poor quality. It was very poor value for money and we were naturally very disappointed. |

Interconnecting family room was good; the buffet break was substantial and very welcome. Paying for an internet connection when I'm paying for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast staff were diffident. |
