The hotel very authentic to the city Gruyeres, very cosy

Small rooms and no lift at all hotels in Gruyeres

Its location at the centre of the medieval village, old building, almost medieval style of the room an furniture, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and restaurant and reasonable pricing. The overall atmosphere of an old-fashioned, medieval village was excellent!

Obviously it is an old European hotel so you get what you get. It is not luxury, but is clean, not terribly small. The location and natural beuaty around the hotel, the personal service of the staff make up for any lack of facililties.

Great location and a friendly staff. The view from the breakfast room is fantastic. All the dairy products are local Gruyeres products and that made the breakfast really special.

The stairs are steep and narrow and the ceilings are a bit low. But still, a very pleasant place to stay and very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay here, I cant recommend enough, it was beautiful. Lovely room, you have a great view no matter what room you have, its clean and staff are friendly. Love it here!

Good location very close to castle. Nice view to the countryside.

There was small problem with sanitary equipment

The staff was very friendly and helping.

They have stairs only to move your luggage up to second floor, it was hard on the narrow and round stairs.

As American visitors to the area, we were impressed with the friendly, helpful service we were provided with. The room was very clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, we have shared the information with family who may visit too.

La chica de recepción un encanto y la habitación es confortable y limpia.

Lo unico que es muy caro, en españa por ese precio tienes habitacion de lujo...pero es suiza y encima Gruyeres, pueblo pequeñisimo y con encanto......y claro, tambien caro. No encuentras nada mejor mas barato. El desayuno... Poca cosa si te esperas desayuno a la altura del precio del hotel...pero lo dicho, es suiza.

Es un hotel que te transporta a la edad media, todo acorde a la ciudad. No tiene lujos, pero es perfecto para el lugar. Hay que tener en cuenta que Gruyeres tiene no más de 300 metros. Como el restaurante estaba cerrado, te dan un vale de descuento para que cenes en otro restaurante. El lugar del desayuno es excelente con una vista espectacular.
