Very friendly owners and good food - plus a warm stove
The location is good. you can walk almost anywhere. A taxi or bus is needed to get to the train station even though it is less than a mile a way, because of the hills. It is hard to walk carrying the bags. The hotel is very clean. The Internet works well. It is very practical if you are spending a few days, because the kitchenette, although very basic, does save you a lot of time and money.
It was a little plain. Would use it again if I am spending several days there. Bed was a little uncomfortable (hard), but is very typical of most hotels in europe at this price range
It was very clean, the receptionists were helpful. The hotel is central. The room was quiet. Water hot.
Access would be impossible for the disabled - steep stairs up from the street. The hotel is not easy to find as it is tucked away off the main street. The room was very badly lit - I could hardly see to read. The duvet was fine but very thin - might be a bit chilly in winter. Although there is a kitchenette apparently you have to ask the staff for crockery etc. A bit strange I thought.
clean rooms, helpful personnel, central location
Picture on Booking.com showed nice room, in reality i got double beth room very small under roof. Unconfortible all, room, beth and bad room. First time bad experience with booking.com, i need to think about for next reservation. Regards Serafino
The location was good.
it was hard to find the entrance. It was dark with no lights, a little dangerous, no hand rails to hold on to.
A small room, very clean, with bery clean sherd bathroom. The staff are very nice and helpfull. We came with two bikes to the hotel with no problem. We even left our luggage at the hotel for the trip.
Great comfortable room. Nice bed. Small kitchenette to use. Great shower.
The kitchenette is great, but it has no plates, glasses, silverware, or pots/pans. You have to ask the reception for these things, which they offer, but it is a small inconvenience to request it.
Lovely decor and friendly staff. Value for money buffet breakfast.
Bathroom was a little small.
Close to town centre and lake side Close to bus stops Close to castle Has a lift, handy for suit cases Has a good key system where you leave your inside door key in a secure rack and take an outside key on exiting each day. Triple glazed windows keep noise from close by train line out.
No air conditioning so that on hot summer nights, you need to open windows, train noise obtrusive. Breakfast relatively expensive. No free bus tickets, Geneva and Schwerin hotels had free local transport tickets. A dozen steps to negotiate from footpath up to hotel entry were difficult with our large baggage ( we were on a two month trip so needed large suitcases)
cleanliness, staff, location
Liked the helpfulness of the reception staff. I had requested for the receipt to be split into two different parts, as part of the bill was to be paid by me and part by somebody else. It was a complicated thing and the hotel staff put in as much effort as possible to make it the way I wanted it.
There was an odd smell in the room as soon as enter the room everyday in the evening. It goes off in a few minutes, but the smell is bad. Also, I think, the softwares they use for generating the bill has a lot of bugs as there were many errors in splitting the bill. I wanted a receipt for 04.08.2014 and another receipt for the rest of the days (31.07.2014 to 03.07.2014 and 05.07.2014). And somehow the software made 05.07.2014 06.07.2014 as soon as the 04.08.2014 bill was seperated.
Location, staff (all very helpful and friendly) cleanliness and room size.
,Very central Small kitchen in the room and kitchen facilities by request. Clean and pleasant rear rooms. They changed the front room And gave us a better rear room
Some of the rooms are noisy The front part of the hotel is under restoration
Was under construction for expansion...
Location Staff (very friendly and helpful) Cleanliness
Very difficult to find Price quite steep
the place is under renovation, and from the sidewalk you can't tell it is even there. Not even a street address posted.
Clean room with good facilities.
The stairs up from the street. It would be convenient to include breakfast in with the total daily cost.
location to centre of town kitchenettes - all rooms had
pay for parking -1 sf an hour - not too bad under construction so difficult to find
Building works made it hard to find
Close to center of town.
Not handicap accessible. Under construction. Old pillows. Tiny bathroom. Sit on toilet and wash your hands at the same time. Public parking garage next door not handicap accessible either. Train tracks right behind hotel. Not the best neighborhood.
The location was great, right in the centre of town. The room was big enough, the bed was nice and the staff were very friendly and good looking!
Maybe something hot for breakfast..
Friendly reception, spacious room, direct bus from train station (postal car)
