The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. Everything seemed pretty new. The location was great too. And the breakfast was excellent. I had a great stay. It was annoying to have to pay to use the wireless internet. I have been travelling across Europe, and the wifi was free in all the other hotels I've stayed in (and they were all cheaper than the Hotel Alpha, too!) Sure, the wifi rate wasn't expensive, but it's just annoying to be nickel-and-dimed. |

We had a room on the corner with a balcony and a good view of Mt Pilatus. Most of the rooms had a more basic view. The room had all the basics and was quite well appointed. The breakfast was also basic but did the job. The shared bathroom and showers were fine too. Overall this was good option for a short stay in Lucerne. |

hotel staff is very helpful wifi signal doesn't reach to my room, Ratio of shared bathroom is tight and there is not floor towel in the shared bathroom. |

Price is reasonable, and it is located in a quiet place. Just locate 5-8 mins from the railway station. Very easy to find. I don't like the shared bathroom and toilet. |

Very clean and large spacious rooms with very friendly staff. Internet is cheap. No TV in our room but there are communal TV rooms and lounge rooms which are great. Unfortuntaley, a man peeking under the shower door! We told reception and this has not happened before, but still not a great experience! |

It is convenient from the station and city. Then it is clean and calm in reasonable price.Simple breakfast in a clean kitchen is very nice. |

Great location 10min walk to city/station. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast is the usual, cereal, toast, jam, coffee. Would recommend this hotel. Heating very good for Winter time. |

I booked a double room and got a triple room only for us to use. So the room is big. Shared toilet and bathroom is clean and convenient. It's within walking distance to train station and city center. And it's a surprise to have breakfast included in such a good price. The room has strong smell of paint. |
