Location to Zurich enge station (literally across the road), trams nearby so easy to get into the city. Breakfast included in the room rate and was nice buffet style. Staff helpful in answering questions. Coffee machine in room was unusual but great!

Closeness to tram station, which made it easy to reach Zurich main station. Girl on the reception was quite charming and helpful.

Very basic hotel, old and is nowhere close to 4 star it has, I guess authorities in Switzerland and really generous to give high star rating. I had a very quite night st hotel.

Stayed here with a friend and we loved it. Room was clean, bathroom spacious, free wifi, right opposite the train station (trains to the airport as well) and tram stop. Great proximity to the lake, lindts factory store and shopping centre.

Good quality/price ratio compared to the Zurich standard. Staff very helpful. Valet parking. Position quite comfortable. Complimentary coffee in the room. Garage elevator just aside the reception desk.

The 40 CHF charge for valet parking is excessive, in particular when the staff doesn't seem very keen to actually park the car on your behalf.

The staff was very kind, the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was excellent. The position is in the center of Zurich, very near to the lake. Thanks to the reservation through Booking.com we could also have a really good rate.

We think, that in an hotel of this category it should be obvious that you find a shower cap in the bathroom and also slippers in the room. As we had no luggage (our stay was unplanned) the missing of this items was a bit uncomfortable. Furthermore the rate of chf 40 for the parking was not very cheap (although rather normal in Zurich). Anyway, it was a pleasant stay and we will occasionally come again.

The staff was extremely accommodating and clean. It had all that was needed. Located directly across the street from Zurich Enge train station, just 5 minutes from the Zurich Bahnhof. This location was very convenient. The hotel restaurant and free breakfast was great. There was a good variety and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Just a suitable location

1. The room shown and described on the booking site - according to the hotel staff does not exist, so we were provided with standard instead of superior room as booked 2. According to the booking web site it is free cancellation policy, but as soon as we booked the room the amount of one night sleep over was reserved on my credit card. I can accept this to be performed few days before arrival or if it is a free cancellation policy on the day of potential arrival, but not on the moment of booking 3. As soon as we arrived, which is normal, we provided them with the additional credit card for hotel to make additional reservation of funds (look above, so this is second reservation), but they did not informed me on the additional amount the hotel will reserve. So we finished up with total costs of CHF 420 for two nights, and more than CHF 840 reserved on my credit cards. Again, it is normal to make a reservation in accordance with hotel policy, but you have to INFORM the client on it and if the client accepts than to make reservation of funds. For neither one reservation of funds we were not informed at all - so many things could go wrong during our stay and more than double of hotel costs were as reserved funds bu hotel - maybe the hotel tough that we would take out furniture. For hotel: in order to operate without misleading the client you need clearly to state and inform on the conditions and hotel policies.

It was near to the main heartbeat of the city ( shopping district and attractions) and there were three trams ( nos 5,6&7) next to the hotel and tram no 6 brings us all the way to the main train station - Zurich HB , which is only 5 stops away. It serves a limited but comprehensive varied of food during breakfast . The room was modern, compact and clean. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to explaining all the necessary tram routes and city sights.

Lack of pillows...only one lumpy pillow per guest. Lack of decent toiletries.

Convenient location, very friendly staff, nice breakfast. There is a Japanese restaurant next door to this hotel. Although it is very expensive, but they serve really good Japanese food. I enjoyed it very much.
