Ascot Hotel  

room size super (corner room) , mattress average, nice big bathroom, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff,large flat tv many channels, breakfast room calm atmosphere, many free newspapers, excellent tram to city Centre, Breakfast continental was good but we often had better ones.

Temperature too hot everywhere , pillows cheap too high, mattress with thick plastic protection makes it difficult to sleep, 24h noise from machines in the courtyard although asked for quiet room, poor noise isolation (ceiling, windows, doors) as old building so we heard cleaning lady working on upper floor and doors slamming much too distinctly, wardrobe too small and badly organised, no air extraction in bath otherwise it is a super bathroom, coffee machine with unlabelled coffee pads and missing teabags, carpets in all public areas should be replaced as old and not fresh looking, We had late dinner in the bar (with nice music and good service) but were disappointed by the very fatty pasta.

T.V. limitations

The personnel was very friendly and polite and willing to help with everything. The room was very clean, I was very pleased staying in Ascot Hotel and most probably I will choose again in the future.

I did not like that I was charged for 12 chf consuming something for the mini bar, when actually I did not consume anything, This is something that should be communicated because this small detail sometimes can ruin all the above.

the lack of air-conditioning in one of the rooms was a major disapointment, while the other room air - con was too mild.

Room was pretty nice. Close to work.

I thought the restaurant and entire lobby/sitting area could be spruced up - it was too old English for my liking but maybe that's the style they're going for. The performer in the restaurant was ok, not great.

繁華街まで近く、トラム乗り場の隣で便利。スタッフは親切。朝食もおいしい。部屋も快適で、くつろげる。

La carta del restaurante. El resto, pocas cosas. Muy malñ en general, muy caro y pocos servicios.

Desayuno, falta de aire acondicionado, una primera habitación que nos dieron...sin reformar, antiquísima (inaceptable por más de 200€ noche). No merece 4 estrellas ni por supuesto ese nivel de precio, por muy caro que sea Zurich
