We were given a room which fulfilled all the criteria we requested. Only a small thing. There are rennovations going on in the hotel, and our air conditioning was very temperemental. However, the staff made valiant efforts to rectify the problem, and by the time we left at the end of two weeks it was running perfectly. |

Our room was very clean and bright overlooking the lake. The food in the hotel, both breakfast and evening was excellent. Good value for money. |

The restaurant was very well appointed with lake views all around and the meals supurb,staff very attentive. I can see that some people might be put off by the renovations that are going on but dont be put off it doesnt interfere with the comfort of the patrons at all,it is a very beautiful hotel. |

Very little - it is being renovated. The location is convenient for the town centre. The room had just been decorated smelled heavily of paint, the A/C had been removed, in August! The corridors were hung with bare wires and light bulbs. The wires almost blocked the corridor, a fire hazard. The stairs were blocked because of painting, fire hazard! Workmen's tools were left in the corridor. The building was covered in scaffolding incl. outside the window - security hazard. The staff said sorry - so what? |
