The hotel is located in the heart of Lucerne, near the lion monument, at the entrance of the old quarter and 200 metres from the famous Vierwaldstätter lake.

All rooms are ensuite and equipped with all common facilities. The Restaurant Lapin - brasserie is a popular meeting place and has a real Lucerne ambiance offering a varied cuisine with a choice of specialities.

The hotel was initially constructed in 1912. All the rooms are designed to the same standard but you will find some rooms with different shapes due to the remnants of the old exterior walls.

Area information

This renovated family hotel is located at the beginning of the old quarter and shopping district near the the famous lion monument. The Vierwaldstädter lake is only 200 metres away and the train station is only a 10 minute walk away.

Nothing much. The room was small, the menu limited, not good value.

yes the CHF 7.50 hidden charge for the parking overnight. Particularly as there was no charge for Sunday night and we arrived at 7.00pm on a Sunday and left at 8.30 the next day.

the cleaniness and warmth of rooms. Very clean bathroom and bedsheets and fresh towels everyday... it is wat i like the most when i m travelling

i would have liked to have bathroom shampoos and soaps...they didnt supply anything to wash with... nowdays its difficult to take liquid when travelling and soo we were stuck. we had to run to the nearest shops for it. maybe thats something thet should look into it

We found the location to be excellent; it really allowed us to see old town at our convenience, without having to either drive and park our car or take public transportation. The restauant, Lapin, was outstanding, with not only wonderful selections for eating but a great wine list (not extensive, but a great variety). This is a basic hotel, old with a lot of history.
