Great view of the city & lake, very big room, big pool. Breakfast is fair and city is at 10-15 minutes by car, if you miss the free hourly shuttle of the hotel you need a cab so the room price gets in fact a little higher - but still reasonable compared to other city hotels of the same level.

The Dolder Waldhaus is perfectly situated in the hills above Zurich. The rooms offer remarkable views. There is ample free parking in their underground parking. The Dolder Bahn stops at the hotel for easy access to the city and beyond. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel is a bit pricey, but the convenience is worth a lot.

Spacious room, panoramic view of Zurich. Very friendly and helpful staff. Deluxe rooms are decorated in a traditional style and a bit old fashioned. Book Superior room for modern style.

Very nice spacious room with all expected facilities, great view of Zurich, nice location near the fringe of the city made even nicer with free hotel transport to/from the city We did not use room service, but a trolley with used room service plates/dishes etc. from other rooms was left parked outside our door for an entire day - this did not seem in keeping with the quality of the hotel.

Lovely view from the balcony and excellent facilities in the room (except a kettle!) Hugely expensive and then you're asked to pay extra for breakfast (which we didn't, there's a lovely cafe at the bottom of the funicular)

We liked the convenient location (a very quiet and natural neighborhood near to the centre), the wonderful view over the city and the lake and the relatively modest price. The style is not contemporary but the premises and rooms are incredibly shiny and well maintained.

...natürlich die Aussicht über Stadt u unteren Zürisee(auch Sonnenuntergang überm Uetliberg), sofern Nebel solche erlaubte, aber auch,dass man von Zürich kommend hier im Dolder gerade ins Oberland hinauskommt.... der Frühstücksservice ist optimierbar, zumal dann, wenn das Frühstück tatsächlich 24CHF kosten sollte.....

Prima ligging en heel mooi uitzicht, vriendelijk personeel, grote kamers. Het hotel is wel wat gedateerd, niet alles voldoet helemaal aan de eisen van deze tijd. Maar voor iemand die niet let op kleurstellingen, oude gordijnen en een gedateerde badkamer is het een prachtig hotel.
